Lindsay the manager of Flower Child was very very personable...
She went out of her way to greet every single guest that was eating and she went and fixed the writing of the condiments or utensils.
She was also editing some of the other orders that were being made.
When Lindsay came by, she previously spoke about her former position and what she was doing in terms of service and making sure that everyone felt like they belong and it was friendly and also very hospitable.
The details of the place in terms of the decor in the bathroom to the eating place outside and inside and even to how the plants are arranged with the books and pots are very very organized and punches and great deal thought was being put into it.
I also want to spotlight the server as she made the order memorable and she was very very kind about ordering an order that she had picked "The Mother's Earth" as it was my first time here at this establishment.
There are games as well as odds and ends to pass the time and some of the regulars came by and then they picked some coloring pages in order to color.
Go ahead and post a review as well as I took some pictures of your establishment and I was really impressed with Lindsay as well as Catherina!
Nothing seemed out a place in everyone seemed to have a role in function and the establishment was neat and orderly many of the people came and they ate and they spent a little bit of time just hanging out and relaxing a little bit.
In a way writing this review right after I just finished eating and I'm grateful again to be able to give you this review and Mr. Halley have a good rest of your day and I know you always hear a negatives but it's been a really positive experience for me that I will definitely come back again!
Thank you very much!
From a very satisfied patron

Read moreWow! For lack of a better word for my culinary experience, we’ll stick with that. I was so excited to make my first trip to Flower Child - Houston Heights for lunch. The smooth House, R&B, and Urban beats instantly set me in a happy mood when I stepped into the restaurant. The decor gives you a feeling of being at someone’s cozy and whimsical home. The staff were all polite and friendly, but the star of the show was the food! I chose the protein and two sides. My protein was the grilled chicken and I chose the Yuzu Brussels Sprouts (with charred onion, savoy cabbage, and golden miso) and the Red Chile Glazed Sweet Potato (with bok choy and sesame seed) as my tasty sides. Other favorites include the Roasted Broccoli, Gluten-Free Mac & Cheese, and Butternut Squash “Risotto.” As for drinks, you have wine, local beers, rotating kombucha, and various flavored iced teas to choose from. If you are in the Heights area and looking for a healthy, vegan, or vegetarian option for a meal, keep Flower Child in mind. You won’t be...
