Okay this review is based off a group of 4. For my birthday we went on Sunday for brunch. Loved her before and now even more ✨Blackberri ✨. She let me be stupid and I’m glad🤣. The Queens I got to see, stunnin. The ambiance, atmosphere, and interactions with the guest 10/10. the food by itself delicious and the drinks by themselves smooth however both together *chefs kiss would certainly recommend. *For every fried item on the menu the fry was really light, crispy and juicy girl read then leave my comment and book a table.
I’ve rated the food below:
CRAWFISH ETOUFFEE EGG ROLLS Crispy wonton egg rolls filled with homemade crawfish etouffee, pepper jack cheese and served with our special sauce. $14.95 Rate- ⭐️⭐️⭐️. My friends said it was a little too fishy and the pepper jack cheese threw them off.
GARLIC PARMESAN FRENCH FRIES Our signature French fries tossed in a roasted garlic chili sauce loaded with grated Parmesan then topped with Caesar dressing and chopped parsley. $12.95 Rate- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. *Have a piece of gum or a mint on deck, delicious yet stinky breath slay.
JAMBALAYA BALLS Our homemade recipe made with chicken, pork tenderloin, smoked sausage, creole vegetables then battered, fried to golden brown and served with our special sauce. $14.95 Rate-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Mhhm, yes.
SMOKED SALMON & AVOCADO Smoked salmon over Boursin cheese topped with fresh avocado, dill, and cappers. $16.95 Rate- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Toot. Absolutely will be coming back just for this right here. Oh my goodness, I’m not even a salmon person, trust me.

I paired it with a side of scrambled eggs and the chicken cutlet used for the chicken and waffles. And did. And I’d do it again. Slay

Read moreCame here yesterday for a Sunday drag show and brunch. We were told that we could wait and order drinks until we were seated. We were ignored at the bar for so long, so we decided to walk around and try with another bartender. Again, we were ignored for an extended period of time. I was standing at the bar facing the bartender with my credit card in hand. Not sure if I’m supposed to wave or beg for service here. This is the first time I have ever been ignored like this at an establishment and it made me uncomfortable. I noticed that everyone around us had been served, including people who approached the bar after we did. It seemed like certain groups of people received first-class service. After 20 minutes, we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere because we clearly were not wanted here. We ended up at Lost & Found right down the road. I usually make it a point to visit LGBT establishments as that’s where I feel most comfortable; and though Lost & Found is not lgbt-designated and did not have a drag show, our experience here was totally opposite. We felt welcomed, received excellent service, and enjoyed the most delectable brunch.
Needless to say, the Montrose Country Club disappointed me. I’ve been visiting this place since it was F-Bar, Re-Bar, and Rich’s. This was the first time I returned ever since they rebranded to The Montrose Country Club and built the beautiful Pool. Something I had been looking forward to.
I’m still giving 3 stars instead of 1 because the pool area impressed me and the installations all looked very nice. I’m going to give this place another chance sometime soon and will edit my review accordingly. Next time, I’ll visit for the pool area rather...
Read moreI visited with my sister to their pool on a Sunday around 2pm and we were afraid that we wouldn’t get a spot but we got lucky and found a couple chairs. You pay $35 per person and you get a wristband.
The music wasn’t too loud that you couldn’t carry on a conversation and service was great. I ordered their frozen special - blood orange something and tasted not too sweet and super refreshing. The Baja chicken wrap tasted bland but the fries were good. Didn’t expect much tbh but I was hungry.
They also have changing booths in each corner by the pool which is super convenient. I really liked the atmosphere, just wished we were informed ahead of time of the 20% automatic gratuity.
The server shows you the total but no breakdown of the items such as gratuity. Nowhere on their menu says gratuity of 20% is included and the server also didn’t bother to say anything either so I double tipped without having any knowledge.
Being this as a new place, I would suggest adding that on the menu because this could definitely be a legal battle with other patrons not having any knowledge of this business practice. I guess I’ll have to be super careful if...
