also, they KNOWINGLY allow their residents to commit felony. the person living in my previous unit received packages addressed to me. I know they received them because it showed me that the packages were delivered to the parcels and had been picked up. I asked the Hopkins management to ask them about my package and the resident denied it. I sent a response telling them that I have proof of delivery and parcel pickup that only the resident had access to and that I would file a police report if they did not give back the items given that opening mail knowing it is not yours is a FELONY. I got my item back in the next two days. There is still a package missing of makeup worth 200$ that they didnt bring down that I literally have proof of delivery and pick up, and so i told management that and they said they would not notify the resident anymore because the resident already said initially thay they didn't have it; however, they said the same thing about the first package and eventually showed that they actually had it the whole time in their unit.
UPDATE: I moved out in JUNE. They failed to send me my deposit. I kept reaching out and they would ignore my emails for weeks and then eventually only reply that they had already mailed my deposit back to me. But when I asked them for proof, they ignored me. It was not until I told them I would take legal action against them that they responded and mailed my deposit within the week. it took them until SEPTEMBER. they also failed to send me back my full deposit so I will be disputing with my bank.
UPDATE: have been left without a response for a week. i moved out june and have not received my deposit back. they just tell me that they mailed it to me but donāt have tracking for it. i also have a package that has confirmation delivery to their parcels but they wonāt check the parcel or tell me if someone is living in the unit i was in and they picked up the item from the parcel. do not move here. nightmare management
MAKIRA GADDY is the worst manager to exist. unprofessional and sly. DO NOT MOVE HERE. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR EXTRA DAYS AFTER MOVE OUT. I moved out on a weekend, and they gave me no instructions on what to do with the keys.They were not in the office that weekend despite knowing that was my move out date. I went to drop them off the following Tuesday (i moved out on Saturday, they were closed Sunday, and Monday I had school all the way until 6 pm and then went home to unpack my stuff) and they want to charge me because I didn't drop off the keys when the office was CLOSED. I have attached images of emails with makira where she literally lies to me and I had to send her a screenshot to remind her of her words.
If I could give a 0 I would. I lived here for 3 years. The last year, towards the end of my lease, they sold the complex to asset living. They switched out the entire management. I had reconsidered signing my lease again, but I am glad I moved. I signed a lease elsewhere 2 weeks before my move out. The new management does not maintain the complex clean. The pool was literally flooding the garage and had the roof falling onto the cars and they didn't consider it unsafe. The elevators were always down. They don't know how to manage the trash the way morgan group did, so they always leave it out and it smells so bad when youre just trying to enter your building. They will have like 3 huge trash bins out throughout the week, not just when the trash comes to pick up.
Management with Morgan group was great. One time they switched their portal to a different system and I got charged late fees despite not knowing the system had changed and my autopay didn't go through. they removed the extra charges without question. they were always quick to resolve issues....

However, not long after I moved in everyone in the office was quitting or transferring to other companies leaving all new faces in the office. Everything went downhill quickly after that change.
They advertise this property as a luxury apartment complex however, the dog feces and urine that is constantly in the elevators, hallways and stairwells never subside. You can complain all you want however, nothing is ever done to stop it as this is a constant issue. You basically learn to just dodge the doggy landmines to not track it back into your unit.
The garage gates are constantly breaking and needing repair. I understand technology and mechanics fail from time to time but it should never take up to two months to fix. This management team I guess likes to take their time.
January of 2018 they had a water leak from a fire sprinkler that went off and flooded the 5th floor and the floors below that took until the end of July for them to fix because they were having issues with the company they hired. They communicated that to the residents which I find unprofessional. Just fix it I donāt care why itās still not done. Additionally, I travel for work occasionally and a jacket had been left in my apartment during the time they were inspecting for more water damage. I just brought it down to the office in an effort to return it not accuse someone of wrongfully entering my apartment which the office staff blatantly told me no one was in the apartment and that I must have left the door unlocked. Although, I had the paper they left saying they came in for the inspections.
The office staff has no idea what they are doing. I donāt necessarily place all the blame on them as itās managements responsibility to properly train their employees and have them confident in their abilities to perform. However, on two separate occasions Iāve been told to go to their sister property across the street because they donāt know how to handle simple things such as lease transfers and that I should have them deal with it. The office staff also speaks to residents including myself about their personal lives and how they had to be dragged out of a club because of a potential alcohol infused fight. But yet this is a professional luxury apartment complex.
Now, after officially sitting down to speak with the property manager about transferring to another apartment I see why the office staff at my building is so inept. Jessica is very disrespectful and condescending to anyone who complains about her property. When she asked why Iād like to transfer I told her my concerns and was only met with hostility and told that their sister property has the same issues and so does all of their other properties. I was just answering her questions on why I wanted to transfer and she got defensive and disrespectful. She told me that she is and I quote ābasically running an adult daycare.ā
I wouldnāt recommend you live at this property unless itās a last resort. The disrespect Iāve received from management here has definitely put a sour taste in my mouth about how the Morgan Group does business and Iāll make sure to let everyone know what youāre getting into...

Elevators go down every 6 days, and have currently been out for over 2 weeks. The entire building has to use 1 elevator. Sure, they may send out a notice, but for this to be considered "luxury living," this does not benefit the residents.
The cleaning crew was also fired or drastically scaled back, so before, the hallways and elevators always smelled amazing, the hallways are dirty, have a smell to them, and the elevators are dirty as well. Someone vomited in the elevator, or something like it, and the remains were in the elevator for a couple of days; the floors are stained, and the windows are not clean.
The concierge is also no longer here. NOW onto the leasing agents. Ethan is always professional and seems pleasant. The Community manager is an older lady who is useless, rude, and cold. Her lineage should be embarrassed. She should never work with the public, as her skill set is severely lacking. Previously, I felt pretty secure here, but since the sale of the building, there has NOT been a stable maintenance team. The company was sold in June and there have been 3 different maintenance men in my apartment, and as a single woman, that is not safe.
Long story short search other pearl communities, skip this one! I love the location, it is central to almost everything. The Maintenance team is amazing and I feel safe around them. Raven is one of the best concierges Iāve experienced!
With that being said, certain residents are quite nasty and wasnāt raise right. They leave trash all in the parking garage basements. Pizza boxes on the side of the EMPTY trash can. Yogurt cups, amazon boxes, deodorant sticks & CAVA bags all just sitting in the garage.
The walls are super thin, ridiculously thin, I can hear when my up-stairs neighbor closes his cabinets, when he walks. There are a ton of people who drive with the diesel noise. You can almost hear all the noises that take place.
