As someone confined to a wheelchair, it's become a common ritual to research a place before visiting. So this is what I did. I've felt like I've been blatantly lied to by this company. When I get lied to by companies about their compliance with inclusion of people with disabilities, it's usually something like a sketchy ramp or a small lip into their doorway. Anyone with a disability similar to mine knows that it's an entire project to get into and out of their vehicle. I came here on Saturday at 2pm. After my family got me out of the van, we walked up to the curb and figured since we didn't see a ramp there would be one somewhere that we weren't seeing. We walked the entire perimeter of the curb and there was no ramp anywhere. I still wanted to give this business a chance, so my brother and my mother were kind enough to struggle me up onto the curb. After that project was over with, we walked up to the door to find that the door was locked DESPITE their business hours on their door saying they would be open. Do not believe this company when they say they are inclusive. They are not. This is unacceptable.

Randomly discovered this little gem while running errands in town. The owner is a very kind lady that took the time to walk us through some of her bestselling drinks, along with ones that we might like based on our tastes. She explained to us that the coffee shop is named in her grandmother’s honor, as she was an avid coffee lover. We tried a Tropical Island (coconut + lavender) latte and a Butter Pecan latte and they both tasted great! Both drinks run on the sweeter side, so if that’s not your thing I would suggest just letting them know ahead of time. The setup is very cozy and reminiscent of an 80’s cafe, complete with a Pacman arcade cabinet and several board games. I was fascinated by all the bright and colorful decor.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Coffee Lover’s Dream Spot! As a true coffee lover, I’ve been on the hunt for a spot to add to my daily routine—and I’ve found it! And Her Name Was Irene is everything I didn’t know I needed. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming, calm, and full of good energy. Nina was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable—she clearly knows her craft when it comes to coffee. You can tell she puts love into every cup. If you haven’t stopped by yet, you’re truly missing out. P.S. Check her out on IG @andhernamewasirene—you’ll fall in love even more!

If you're looking for a coffee shop that elevates your caffeine experience to a whole new level, look no further than the hidden gem that is Her Name was Irene. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by an enchanting ambiance that perfectly blends cozy charm with artistic flair. The decor is nothing short of breathtaking, featuring warm wood accents, vibrant artwork, and an inviting layout that makes you feel right at home.

The true star of the show, however, is the coffee itself. Their lattes are a delightful revelation—each sip bursts with rich flavor and creamy texture, a testament to the barista's skill and passion for coffee. Whether you prefer a lavender latte or something more adventurous, every option on the menu is crafted to perfection using non dairy milk!

But what truly sets this coffee shop apart is the proprietor. Nina’s warm hospitality and gracious demeanor are the icing on the cake. She takes the time to engage with each customer, sharing her experiences with coffee and ensuring each cup is brewed with love.

Her genuine care for the guests creates an atmosphere that's not just about coffee, but about community. I can't recommend it enough—this is a place...
