Jason's Deli — Restaurant in Houston

I've been to this Jason's before without any issues. That being said, I will never go back to this Jason's after today. I came in to place a To-Go order. There was only one person at the cashier, which I guess was OK considering it was 6 PM and the place looked dead anyways. I come in and there's a family of 3 looking at menus, so they say I can go before them, Ok great. I place my order, no problem. I go sit down near the To-Go area and get on my phone (text, Facebook etc...) 20 minutes later I start to get a little anxious. I get out of my chair and decide to stand for a little bit. By this time, the family of 3 have left with their "big order" (3 bags worth of food) and still nothing. Another 5 minutes go by and now I'm just irritated. I see 4 people making sandwiches in the kitchen area and still my food is nowhere to be seen. Finally, a concerned employee looks my way and asks someone else ( I presume the manager because he was wearing a different color shirt than all the rest) "What is that lady waiting for?" and the guy looks at her and says, "I don't know, why don't you go ask her" Super condescending and just plain rude in my opinion, because he said it loud enough that I actually heard him very clearly. Anyways, I told the lady what I was waiting for and she quickly went to the back to get my order (apparently it takes 30 minutes to make a Cesar salad). She did apologize for the long wait time, but I was just ready to get out of there. Very rude management and long wait time for a salad? Yeah, no. I will take my...

Went to get 2x salads and a grilled cheese and soup from this location. Ordered my food through the window and the lady told me to drive up to the doors so I did. After 15mins I walked into the restaurant to use the restroom and get my food after. Waited f 5-10’s more mins. then a lady walked in and told me she ordered 20mins ago and her order still not ready.. I ask a young girl if my food was ready she told me she will check on it. She made my salad and 5 mins later my food was ready . This was on my lunch break so I called to let the manager know and so another employee answered and told me that’s how long it takes for grill cheese so I told her can I speak to the manager and she told me no that’s answer came from her. So I told her what’s her name and corporate manager name she then passed the phone to the manager. The manager told me all my food was ready and it was just the grill cheese. I told her I spoke to the woman in the front desk and she told me she was going to make the salad for me.. Then the manager started to lie some more like I wasn’t in the restaurant asking about my food and not talking to the workers. Instead of resolving the issue she just started lying some more.. Will not be going to this...

I was 🙀 surprised with this business establishment totally. Variety and the selections to choose from , the cashier her name was Valerie very pleasant and very professional and very attentive to the customer, I'm only assuming she's the manager , I just found a new plan to come 🫴 for salad 🥗 & 🍲 soup their gingerbread muffins was fantastic , it had favor of one of Houston oldest city clubs 😍" the Houston Club downtown " , that taste one of 🕜🕐 kind goes back as far 1894 , If you have desire for a salad 🥗 this is one of the best places to go , with all due respect 😉 Olive garden has a wonderful salad & soup 🍲 ,& great price as well ❤️‍🩹 but not like Jason's deli hands down 👇👎 much greater selection , I'm not trying to compare by all means , I'm speaking only different in that aspect only.
