The Katz’s kitchen DNA is there, and I see faces in Management that got promoted from within, (& we are talking ‘best of the best’) and the newer staff is well trained. The new location has all the ingredients. I’m going about twice a week and very pleased with how the team is gelling. There were two of us waiting ahead of others, yet we were asked to wait while other groups who arrived after us were seated right away. It was obvious and uncomfortable — we couldn’t help but feel that the treatment was discriminatory.
We came hoping to enjoy good food and a welcoming atmosphere, but instead left feeling disrespected and hurt. No one deserves to be treated differently because of who they are.
