Kolache Factory — Restaurant in Houston

I was a regular customer at this location, but I have finally had enough. Their people seem to gravitate to any of there kolaches that have egg in them. If you order a ham and cheese, pay attention because there is a pretty good chance they will grab a ham, egg and cheese. Typically I catch it, but this morning I was preoccupied and was not paying attention. I get home and find out what I ordered had egg in it. I called and told them the problem and the manager wanted me to bring the items back. I explained to him that I would be happy to take a picture and text it to him if he did not believe me, but that I had already been inconvenienced and would not be further inconvenienced by driving their mistake back to them. Very poor training on the employees part and horrible customer service on the manager's part. Their system is very disorganized. I have spoken to I guess the regional manager who cannot find my order in the system despite us having three conversations where I have had to give my credit card twice. This is all way to much of a hassle to get breakfast. If you don't mind your order screwed up, and don't mind a hassle trying to get it fixed, then this place is for you. I was given the wrong type of kolache several weeks ago. Unlike some of the poor reviews with the same problem, I did call to complained. After reading some of the requested numbers off the receipt to the manager, I was asked to come back for the kolache I ordered. Really!? Maybe they think I have all the time in the world to come back from work to resolve this issue but I don't and made the manager aware of it. She said if I came back in at my convenience she would give me my correct order.

So I was in yesterday for my kolache. Erica, the manager, said no one made her aware of this and that I had to pay for my kolache. Wow... Unlike Ms. Alelaiwi in you reviews who did not address the same issue with the manager, I did and IT DIDN'T MATTER. She would have been just as disappointed as I was by loss of memory.

Kolache Factory should have a procedure for this as you are losing your customers and timing for the offer. No thanks. I don't get this type of treatment at McDonald's or...

I love Kolache from Kolache Factory. Most of the Staff at Chimney rock location is nice. Food quality is also really good. Having said all that, I am writing this review specifically to address extremely poor customer service from one employee named JOSE H. He refused to honor the coupon that I had, which I received by registering to kolache website, by asking to see the email, the email that I didn't have handy at the time. On top, he interfered with other employee who was preparing our order probably causing him to make mistake and give wrong kolaches. I was really furious and I went back all the way from my work to their store just to make my point by returning those kolaches. He also walked up to the person processing my refund, turned his back against me, whisper something in that employee's ears, tried to interfere without success.
