The truth is I cannot believe that I have to take the time out of my life to do this and quite frankly I’ve ever left a negative review but the experience here and the treatment of my family at this establishment was truly upsetting to a degree where it has resulted in such. I came to the restaurant with a table of 7, after a great night of showing my family out who came in from overseas and I wanted to show them what our middle eastern community here has to offer. We ordered a number of things in particular two mixed Layal grills, mind you each one is $60 so you would have some sort of expectation of quality. The waiter brings out two cast iron skillets where the handles are hot. Very quickly it was obvious that there was something wrong with the cooking method, almost as if it was reheated. The food was absolutely inedible. If it was even decent this review would never have been a thing. But I indicated my discontent with the manager, he literally sat down with us at the table and apologized which we appreciated and he wanted to try food we complained about. It was so bad he couldn’t even eat it himself the own manager of the store. He gets up in pure embarrassment and says I’m very sorry guys how can we rectify this issue and tries pedaling us some free desserts. Mind you he tried, admitted, and agreed himself that the food in front of us was absolutely horrendous to the extent that he could not even stomach it himself. We told him honestly it was so bad our night was kind of ruined we would like to close out. He took $15 of the bill as an inconvenience, mind you the service charge alone that they automatically charge was more than that. I spoke to the manager in shock that he would be this greedy when it was clear to him that the food that was presented to us was obviously not to standard, and was not consumed by the 7 people who sat down. The fact that he was willing to lose the future business of 7 people and to not protect the reputation of his restaurant in a very well known small community where word of mouth is crucial is ridiculous. I pray for the sake of his business that the owner of this establishment addresses the true greed and lack of customer service by his manager which is negatively effecting his business. I myself have spent thousands of dollars at this establishment just this year and I’m going to make sure that no one I know ever sets foot in this establishment again, and this all could have been avoided had he employed a competent manager to run...

Every time I've visited Layal Cafe, I've made it a point to order food and drinks from their menu to support the establishment. On my most recent visit, I was looking forward to settling in with my usual order and my personal energy drink from home to keep me focused during my study session.

To my surprise, I was informed by the staff that outside beverages, including my energy drink, were not allowed. This caught me off guard as I had not encountered this restriction during my previous visits. While I understand the need for businesses to encourage patrons to purchase their products, the abruptness of this policy enforcement was unexpected.

Despite this unexpected hurdle, I appreciate the comfortable atmosphere and the variety of items available on the menu at Layal Cafe. The staff has always been courteous and attentive during my previous visits, which has contributed to my decision to make it a regular study spot.
