I went into Little Woodrow's ordered a drink and planned to order an Uber to get me home. I didn't realize my phone had died so i asked the waitress if she had a charger and she went to the corner of the bar, barely looked at something, and came back and said no, and walked away. I turned around and noticed they had some charging packs, which she failed to mention to me. I rented a pack and of course the charging pack didn't work. So i approached her again to complain about the charging pack not working. She said the charging packs, which i purchased within their establishment, was not their responsibility. As i started to tell her, i just wanted to charge my phone to get home and if someone can help me, she walks off and gets security. They ask me to leave because i was bothering the waitress. I did not raise my voice or curse at her, or threaten her in any way. After arguing with security for a bit and letting him know i just needed help to charge my phone to get home, i walked out, and went to Neil's Bahr, where the staff was more than accommodating. They even gave me a free drink because they can see how upset i was from how i was treated at Little Woodrow's. It was late, i was alone, and bars were starting to close. I know there is no obligation to help me, but the decent thing is to at least feel compassionate for someone that's in a tough situation. I was kicked out after just asking for help and i was a paying customer. I have been a customer for years. I will never return...
Read moreI've been waiting for Little Woodrows to open a location (in Houston) like the one Cypress. By that, I mean big in size and good food. I believe this one has only been open for 2 or 3 weeks. I stopped by with my pups (yes, the patio is pet friendly) last Thursday evening. At that point, their food menu was limited. Because of that, we ordered a flat bread margherita pizza. Unfortunately, it was terrible, terrible, terrible. It was undercooked and cold. The only thing that made it look decent was the melted cheese. You could taste and tell that they didn't bake it long enough. We still ate it and decided not to complain. I assume they are still figuring out the entire kitchen situation, hence the limited food options. One of my favorite bars happens to be Little Woodrows (White Oak), but the only complaint is they don't have food. Anyhow, I'll eventually give this location another try. The inside is spacious and has a generous number of screens. The outside has a huge screen which makes sport watching perfect. They do have parking behind their establishment, but it's hard to notice unless you...
Read more3/20/2021: I spent the evening here with four friends for around two and a half hours. We had 4-5 drinks each and decided to leave when we realized that they didnât serve any food. The manager suggested the hotdog stand out front, which was delicious. One lady in our party asked to go back inside to use the restroom while we waited for our food and was denied reentrance. The âbouncerâ, who seemed like maybe it was his first night on the job, absolutely refused us reentry for âliabilityâ reasons. I thought maybe my friend misunderstood the situation, so I asked the âbouncerâ if she could be allowed to go back inside to use the restroom, and he got super aggressive with both of us. I think maybe he confused us with somebody else, but he started yelling weird things about the homeless people in the area, and eventually left the front door without warning. We eventually left, after our food was ready and he still wasnât back at the door.
All in all, this is a great place to grab a beer and watch some games, but this particular employee led to us having an incredibly...
