If you have any concerns regarding COVID (and you should), know that the employees don't care nor are any precautions of face covering or masks taken...
There were 2 employees working who I observed were in close proximity to customers while serving them and neither had any face covering or mask to protect against COVID. I tried to engage both people and explained I was very concerned given the situation with COVID. One employee looked like he was trying to hold back laughter. Seems like he needs a trip to the hospital to see how funny it really is. They both just shrugged and would not even answer any questions about masks. I asked for the number for the manager. They refused to write it down nor give it to me. They said to just look at my receipt... Which of course just has the number to the store. This is terrible that zero precautions are being taken to protect against COVID-19. You don't even have to provide the masks! You could simply enforce that everyone wear a face covering. This is a simple way to at least take some kind of precaution. Also, the tablet to push in the tip and final sale amount was filthy. Extra cleaning of high touch surfaces is important during these times as we continue to learn how COVID spreads. Our family does not plan on ever returning. With businesses struggling, there are places actually trying to not just make it financially, but trying to do so in a way that protects both the employees and customers. As a side note, the response from these two employees was deplorable. Under no circumstances should an employee refuse to provide their manager's contact information.
This was so disheartening to me because I work in health on COVID response and had barely seen my family for weeks. We finally go out between my work for take out of ice cream and this was my experience. So much for working 60-70+ hours a week since March to try to serve the community when this business can't even take basic...
Read moreMy family and I visited this location after having lunch at a nearby restaurant. The ice cream given to us was horrible, and the service was below sub-par. We bought individual scoops of 2 different flavors and a Fudge Brownie Sundae. The 2 individual scoops were kinda melting in the one minute it took for us to order and pay. It had no flavor of any kind. The brownie in our Sundae was hard as a rock. The chocolate syrup seemed old, and once again, the ice cream was just bland. It feels like all their ice creams might be old. The brownie was not heated like it's done at most places. I guess you don't get to choose the ice cream flavors here like at other MSC locations. It would have been difficult to communicate with them also. I'm happy I didn't spend extra there on anything else since what I got for the money paid was just horrible. Realizing that it would be an uphill ordeal to talk to them about it, we just tossed the ice cream and left. We will definitely not be visiting this...
Read moreI’ve been here a couple times, and both trips have been disappointing. The service was pretty lackluster. The person taking my order seemed annoyed whenever I asked a question, and overall it seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Additionally the prices are ridiculous for the amount of ice cream you get. It cost me 7.57 to get less than a pint of ice cream with just Oreos and Graham Crackers mixed in. I understand having a premium price for the novelty of getting your ice cream mixed together with whatever toppings you’d like, but it still ends up being far more expensive than competing chains, with ice cream that’s no better. Overall I’m giving it three stars because despite the ridiculous price and bad service, the ice cream was good. I just wish I had just picked up a pint of Bluebell at the grocery store instead.
Also worth noting, all of the staff was wearing masks and wearing them correctly, this has apparently been an issue in the past, but it seems as if it’s now...
