My experiences with this location have been frustrating, to say the least. I used to go in-person to get out of the office for a while, but the service at the physical location was terrible. At times, I was waiting over 30 minutes for food and received incorrect orders. I found a solution. I started ordering online and things got better for a time. They frequently run out of very common items, like strawberries and certain breads, which was frustrating. The last two times that I've ordered online, I've had issues. The time before, I ordered a pick-2 but only got a pick-1. I called the restaurant and they refunded me, but I only had a cup of soup for lunch that day. This most recent time, the website invited me to "use my previous delivery information" - a welcome change from having to repeatedly re-enter my physical address. After I placed my order, I got a call from DoorDasher stating that he could not find my location, that I did not provide an address and to text him the correct address. I reviewed my online account with Panera and my address did show with certain information redacted with **. I texted him the address at the number he called from. He called back asking if I had sent the address. I told him that I had and he said that he was going to check. Then I get a call from DoorDash customer service stating that they cannot verify my address. After repeating my address another 5 times to DoorDash customer service, she stated that my food was on its way. It appears there is some disconnect between Panera and DoorDash with regard to addresses. Oh, and Panera said they were out of strawberries for my salad. I also ordered a fruit cup with my meal. Lo and behold, the fruit cup had strawberries. Time to find an...
Read moreI ordered food from here because I had a gift card. Panera typically isn't my favorite. I find it to be overpriced and pretty average. I had ordered a cookie and didn't realize that it wasn't in the bag until I got home so I submitted an online customer service request just to refund the cookie and didn't hear anything. 2 days later I called customer service and they said they escalated the request to the manager at my local store and to wait 5 days for a response... Over a refund... For a cookie.... So I waited 5 more days (7 days total from the date of purchase) and still didn't hear anything back from Panera so I called corporate again and they said the manager hasn't even acknowledged receiving my request yet. They added a free bakery item to my Panera account that is only good for 60 days and still didn't refund the cookie that I never received.... While I appreciate the customer service representative trying to make it right, it was an awful lot of hassle for a mistake made by a cafe. Honestly I probably won't be back because this isn't my first issue at this location. One time I ordered a breakfast pickup and arrived to the cafe to find it locked. I could see an employee inside the store and so I tried to call to find out why they weren't open. I watched the employee not answer the phone and then I received an email saying that my order was cancelled.... So I called the store again and they said that someone called out and so they weren't able to open the store yet and therefore had to cancel my order.... I understand that things happen but I had placed the order days prior and it just seems like overall customer...
Read moreI came to this location a few times while I was working in the area. The first time, I ordered Hazelnut coffee and placed the order online. When I arrived, the order wasn't ready, and there was no hazelnut coffee brewed. I waited, and they put it out. When I got to work, neither my nor my coworker's coffee was hazelnut. It was just regular coffee. Next time, I placed a mobile order and attempted the hazelnut coffee again and a bagel, sliced and toasted. When I arrived, the hazelnut was out again. I had to tell the employees, and they said they could brew some. I waited and waited, and since I was on a time limit, I asked if they could take some from the pot that was brewing. They obliged and gave me my order. When I got to work, the coffee was again, not hazelnut, and my bagel wasn't sliced or toasted. Third visit, placed another mobile order. This time, we have up on the coffee and ordered charged lemonade. Went to rapid pickup, and the order wasn't there. I've of the employees was behind the register, looking at his phone. I asked him about the order (which had plenty of time to be made). He asked what I had and just made it himself. I have about 4 more of these same stories for this location. I did have one time going in there, and my order was actually in the rapid pickup slot, but one of the drinks was wrong, so it's not really rapid. The location is nice, and the people and staff seem friendly, but they definitely need to run a tighter ship. I can see this location being busy, and the employees should be better prepared to...
