omg i just wanted a pizza for lunch...
i had business in the area and i saw the place so i walked in. the employee saw me from the back, never greeted me or anything. i just stood there and waved, waited patiently for him to eventually saunter up to the counter. as soon as i started talking the phone rang, so of course he just picked up the phone. when he finally finished i gave him my order, to which he crinkled his face, said that sounded bad to him, and denied being able to make my order. he said that they didn't have what i wanted. i said the toppings were listed right there on the menu. he said he wasn't "sure". i don't know what that means but as he rang up the pizza it came out close to $20. i mentioned the lunch special ($10) and he crinkled his face again, leaned down toward the register, and stared unknowingly at the screen for a LONG time without making a sound. he had thick glasses he wore towards the tip of his nose so i know it couldn't be an issue with his eyesight. after what felt like an eternity i finally quit, canceled the order, and walked out to the same dead silence i was treated to the entire time i was there. eff this place, i went to a finer establishment (that didn't argue with me about the pizza i ordered off of their own damn menu). 20 minutes of my life i'll never get back.
to the owner: this man (black guy, wears plastic clear framed glasses down by the tip of his nose) is basically stealing from your business by costing you sales. i don't know how you pay him,...
Read moreI visited a store on Address: 1005 Waugh Dr #B, Houston, TX 77019. I ordered food for my children and sent my daughter inside to pick it up. Once we drove all the way home and opened up our order we were very disappointed and in for a surprise. The pizza wasn't fully cooked. I had to put it in my oven at home, The chicken was not fried hard and very wet but not with the sauce, just not fried so they were soft so I just put them in the air fryer. I still fed my children because it was late and I couldn't feed them anything else after I sent the money on the pizza. The one item for my baby who doesn't eat meat was the breadstick. When we opened that box we saw one of the employees leftover lunch/Dinner. I have attached a picture below. I was totally disgusted that I watched the young lady at the front counter hand my child three stacked boxes from the warming station/Shelf that contained someone's eaten food with Hot chips inside. I had let everything else go but that was just beyond unacceptable. When I returned to the store the manager was not empathetic at all and just gave me a refund . I hope this is not an ongoing thing because this could become a safety/ Health issue in the future and I thought you all should be aware of what is going on in that store before it becomes worse and affects someone's help or the...
Read moreThis review is specific to the Friday evening shift. I placed a pickup order through the Marco’s website, only to have the estimated ready time come and go without my order being fulfilled. When I provided an employee with my transaction number, they were unable to locate it. Even after showing the confirmation details from the email I received, I was told they would “try to get to it in 20-30 minutes, but there was no guarantee” due to how busy they were. When I suggested they simply prepare my order while I was present, both the employee and the manager declined to take action. I then requested to cancel my order, only to be told by the staff that “the manager would try to handle it later in the evening.”
The store manager, John A., demonstrated a complete lack of customer service skills. A simple, proactive response like, “I apologize for the delay; we’ll prioritize your order and have it ready in 10 minutes,” would have sufficed. Instead, I was met with indifference. The rest of the staff appeared disengaged, seemingly more focused on avoiding customer interaction than resolving issues.
I strongly advise against visiting this location on a Friday evening, as the customer service experience is...
