Today, May 16th 2024 at 11:30 p.m. I visited this McDonald's that is right down the street from where I live. This is the Galleria area so I always expect top-notch service because we always have top notch service anywhere else we go. The same should go for fast food.
I cannot believe the kind of service I just received from whose name I'm told is "Daniella", a dark complected Latina. We had ordered two large drinks, no ice. We are getting a cold, and we cannot be drinking things that are extremely cold. But we had been working all night and needed refreshments. We then received two mediums, and Daniela was not only extremely rude, but she was sarcastic and disrespectful to us. We understand Spanish but we cannot speak it very well, and she kept on talking at us in Spanish and basically saying that we were trying to trick our way into getting more drink? Because we didn't order ice? But we paid our dues for large sizes for a reason. And if we cannot get what we paid for then why in the world do we pay for it in the first place? She was being so rude, even her hand gestures and her little snapping of the fingers towards us was just unacceptable and I asked to speak to the manager or somebody in charge, and somebody by the name Daniel, approach the window and I explained to him that I understand we are the last order that they have, that they are probably tired and want to go home, but this is a very simple ordeal. Give me what I paid for. I told him I get that the machine dispenses a predisposed amount based on the size, she tried talking over me and I talked over her. Just comes to show how disrespectful this woman is. He agreed and gave us our large. Only for us to find out that our water that we ordered, large, had ice. When we had asked for no eyes. She started talking a lot of mess about us to Daniel while we were waiting in our cars and the window was wide open. Again, we can understand Spanish but we just cannot speak it very well. Read moreI had decided to do the mcdvoice survey and try out the receipt buy any sandwich get one free! I was very excited plus on my lunch break! When I went to the drive thru I ordered 2 filet o fish sandwiches. But when I got to the window to pay all my excitement went downhill. I handed the receipt to the gentleman, he had no idea what it is! And he gave it to a woman who is off the clock and she was very rude, I had to keep repeating my order to her. Which is 2 filled o fish! 🤔..when I handed my card to pay ..she still got my order wrong ! She put a quarter pounder and 2 fish sandwiches..when I went to the pick up window I had spoken to the manager about my order being wrong! The woman who took my order yelled saying I can only get Quarter Pounder with my receipt, while I was talking to the manager. The manager looked at the receipt and seen it say any sandwich and get one free, but still respond to me that the other lady said it's only good for Quarter Pounder! First mistake is the employees did not read the receipt . Secondly, the manager is listening to an employee instead of doing what the receipt said. Third, when the employees are off the clock they should not have the say so or taking people order.
