I saw this place in Instagram, and thought it looked lovely. Finally went for my birthday last night and was sadly severely disappointed. Pull in: 2 cars in the parking lot.. Mandatory 10$ valet. Go inside: in this giant place, they tried to sit us next to 2 hooka smokers.. Not really the dinner vibes I was looking for, so got put in a backroom. Server came, started to tell us a massive list of everything, we shared that a verbal list of that magnitude was too much to process, so we'd just look at the menu. They didn't come back for 10 min.. We ordered a starter of truffle fries, a salmon burger, the chicken Alfredo pasta and a non alcoholic berry refresher.. 1: they brought everything out together (eg starter was just with the meal) and it turned out the burger came with fries.. Wish server had said something, might have swapped sides or skipped the starter. 2: the salmon burger was a salmon strip.. One that's about 1.5" wide and 7" long.. Sat on a 4" round bun.. Hindsight I should have just opened the burger, and split the salmon in half and put the burger back together, but instead ate like half the salmon hanging outside the burger, and then the actual burger was now all bread. 3: the chicken Alfredo pasta was good, but sadly too spicy for my date. Yay for lunch today. It was good. Sad part was my date knew they have trouble with some spice and asked for a water. Food came before the water, and they were kinda left sitting there burning waiting for the water to show up 4: the berry refresher... 14$ for a tiny cup with mostly smashed fruit in it. Probably 3-4oz of liquid. You couldn't drink it with a straw, it was just pulp and couldn't sip it as it was just pulp.. Total for fries, salmon burger, Alfredo pasta and a berry drink.. 80.16$ - 4 items total.. I still don't understand how it was that expensive. She came to the table an announced the price to the table.. This is odd for me, I am used to getting a check, looking at it, and paying, not having my date know what the price was. Gave 100$ bill.. Was Asked if I wanted change. (I was always told you never ask this) and was given back 19 dollar bills.. No change. (not super worried about the 84 cents, but just weird to keep it) Left, paid the valet (who actually did get in the car that was parked 20' away and move it for us to get in.. So many times valet just gives you the key and has you walk to the car). Sadly..pretty place (as long as you don't look too hard.. Kinda like being in a strip club after hours).. The food was meh. The service was meh.. And after tip and valley was 100$ for fries, a burger and pasta and a drink. Photo of drink attached. The bottom was solid berry mush. (Which might be great if you wanna eat mushed wet berries)

I mean yes yes yes the place is really cool and beautifully crafted for you to want to take pictures and hang around. The food though... that's a whole another story and again like a place I reviewed not long ago NO ALCOHOL I mean how can you have hookah and no alcohol that's just weird to me, but back to the food because it's a RESTAURANT after all. We came here with a big group to celebrate my friend's birthday some ordered salmon they said it was alright one of them asked for salt and pepper because it lack flavor, some ordered crab cakes they said those were good but nothing impressive, one of my friends ordered the steak which came out in a very cool Smokey plate but the flavor according to my friend was too strong and too overwhelming to the point you couldn't really flavor the meat because the condiments were overpowering; I ordered the paella myself that the server said it was her favorite and now I feel like that server needs to come eat at my house so she can know what flavorful dishes actually taste like; I'm telling you that paella looked good (black rice and all like genuine Spanish paella) but it lacked first of all the squid flavor (that gives the rice the black color to start with) it tasted just like butter and the only scallop that was in the paella was good but the shrimp and the clams were just alright. I wish I could say more good things about this place but I'm here to tell the truth. If you want to come here come just to get a hookah and maybe some mocktails because the food ain't it. And about the ambience: it was Saturday and after 10pm they had a DJ that was actually playing good Jams so I give them that. And I was surprised this was tagged as Mexican? I wouldn't order not even quesadillas from this place

Hmm.. so this place was fun, but very very very busy! We came for a birthday party, $20 bucks to park across the street, when we were leaving, at 1:30am, people were still trying to get it and there was ALOT of traffic. There’s an entrance fee which after, they give you a wrist band.. I believe paying the entrance fee, means they won’t charge you for BYOB, but I’m not 100% on that. The place is big, there’s room and rooms.. and then more rooms, but it’s tight! Like when it gets packed it’s hard to walk through. We were a party of 10, and got put in the back and it was hard to get around the tables, and you were kind of afraid to knock over the hookah. Service wasn’t bad, you pay when you order your food and hookah, which makes sense. When we looked at the menu.. it was kinda pricey to me but the flavor was good. Now I got the fried chicken sandwich which when I got it I ate it right away.. but halfway through my sandwich started to fall apart. The bread got soggy and the batter was coming off the chicken.. still had good flavor but it ended in a mess lol. I did love the fries! The music was good, dj was funny and got people up and dancing. I’d say try this place out but I wouldn’t come if it wasn’t a party or an event.

I will start by saying I’m super disappointed in this venue and any foodies that have been here and given a good review about the place. First off you have to pay for valet parking and you don’t have an option to park your own car. The hostess that attended our party was very rude and not accommodating at all to our number of party that was 5 not 4. I did let her know it was wrong and I tried calling numerous times and finally someone from the venue on their IG page confirmed my reservation’s. The hostess then said well I don’t handle social media, instead of saying ok no problem I will accommodate. Instead she ignored when I said it’s a party of 5 and got another hostess to sit us down at a small table that we wouldn’t fit at. She sat down and continue to talk to a gentleman that was with her . I asked the hostess that walked us to the table ,again that it was a party of 5 and she told me well we have a lot of reservations today. I was super patient and said well I had reservations as well so I do not see why we can’t sit at a bigger table. Meanwhile that place was not even packed at all, maybe 20 people in there because they had a party on one of the rooms. That’s was it. We walked back to the front of the restaurant again to speak to the first hostess and she said I needed to wait. They then sat us at a table that was uneven and the seat we’re couches, and the table was higher for us to eat. Smh ,at this point I get a manager and explain what was going on and she then rearranges reservations and sits us at another table that seemed bigger. Menu just didn’t have enough for you to pick from for the prices they were charging.

The the atmosphere looks like they just threw tables into a restaurant put different decor in different rooms and didn’t think about managing tables and the look of the place. The ambience with the waiters were not friendly there was a bunch of other customers that were unhappy as well.

I honestly would not recommend this place just because of the treatment that people were getting right in front of me along with me and my family just to go eat and have a good time. You have to bring your own bottle because they don’t serve alcohol which is not that bad but at the same time, how am I being charge for valet parking and then I have to pay for food and then I have to bring my own bottle as well. then you have an atmosphere That’s not very friendly. The hostess was extremely rude. We were sitting at a table that was uneven and the seats were couches, and dinning room chairs that didn’t match the tables height which is uncomfortable.

My group and I walked out because of the treatment we received and felt super uncomfortable to dine there. I also asked the velvet for my $ back because we didn’t stay there long enough. Plus it’s next to an apartment complex and garbage bins. We literally was in this restaurant for 10mins trying to get a proper table and walked out. They said they couldn’t give the $ back and I did mention well that’s the only money they would be getting from me and left.

Now I understand why the name to this venue has changed numerous times and probably lost there liquor license because of all the inconsistencies of the venue. As I read google reviews 2 weeks ago about the name change and lack of customer service but also saw the good reviews and wanted to check it out but I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS...

I hate to have to do a negative review on this place but it is absolutely necessary.

Let me start by stating all the positives before I get into the negatives.

Food was very good, service was great, ambiance was also great.

Now, wrapping up our check I asked the waitress if there was gratuity added and she stated there was not. I then asked for a paper copy of the check. My best friend whose birthday it was then asked for the tablet that they close the tickets out with, which did not show an itemized bill, and asked the waitress the same question. She was also told gratuity was not added. She in turn added a $100 tip on behalf of the entire table.

I then asked for a copy of the receipt just to verify that the amount was correct, with no gratuity and was told they do not print paper copies of the receipt. I asked how we get a copy and the waitress replies through text. I then asked for a copy and she looked through for a good 10 minutes before actually providing the receipt and just as I thought an 18% service charge was added prior to our tip.

Now we are the type of people to tip based on service and as I said she did well so my question was to see where that original tip was to add more, not to short her but at this point I did not even feel she deserved a tip.

I then go to a manager who walks over to the section and agrees to return "only" the $100 that we added as a tip. Now, I am not looking for handouts but your waitress literally "stole" $100 from our table. The manager also states that she has to talk to this particular waitress because she has done this before.

To add more fuel to the fire as we are walking out my friend asked the waitress why she lied, and instead of being apologetic she was argumentative.

Now guys... You would think it was all over but we walk outside of this place to find out she had done this to another table, 2 women who had the same story before we had even talked about ours.

So, again if you go for the food, drinks, etc. great time but I worn you PLEASE look at your check before you leave because she robbing people blind. I would hate to see how many people have already been affected...
