One Armed Scissor — Restaurant in Houston

One Armed Scissor is a Tier One spot for any respectful and reasonable guest to enjoy great company and libations. The bartenders make amazing cocktails - I’m certainly quite picky about my Manhattans.

The environment is very friendly, laid back, and inclusive. Living downtown, this has quickly become one of my favorite spots to visit. It’s hard to find a place that’s both unpretentious and high-caliber. It’s obvious that a lot of thought and care are put into everything here.

Very cool location downtown. The cocktails were amazing, and we weren’t expecting the fire on the ‘Baxter’ (very cool). My girlfriend and I have the smallest complaint and that is that we thought there might be more atd-i related decor/maybe some music playing. Maybe we should have requested it! We drove a little bit to head into Houston just to check the place out after wanting to go for a while. For a Friday night it seemed a little slower when I was there however, as it was the last stop that wasn't a bad thing. I had a ton Collins which was good. I did like the more relaxed environment of it. Seems like a good place to stop and have a druken discussion of movies, comics and what not. Especially since they have some pieces that remind me of my childhood. I'll definitely be back, I can see this as a good first or last...
