People say bad service can ruin a dining experience. For me this was my first time trying P.F. Changs with my roommate and partner. We came on a monday night. We walked in and the hostess kinda looked at us a few seconds. She didn't greet us or welcome us into the restaurant. The restaurant was slow and there was hardly anyone inside prob just a table in there before we sat down. Our server came by and asked for drinks while we looked through the menu. We chose pf changs so I could try it but also we read online they may have vegan options available as my roommate is vegan. They do have vegetarian options but when asked about certain items to our server. The server simply said I don't know if it's vegan and just continued taking the order. We felt this was off as since it wasn't busy the least he could do is maybe ask the chef "hey we have this vegetarian dish but is it vegan?" As a server you prob would have some knowledge of what's on the menu and for people with dietary restrictions you can prob learn and keep in mind a fey dishes you could offer in certain situations. Either way we got our food and the food wasnt very impressive to me. And service definitely wasn't catching my attention either. By the time we finished eating. We wanted to go boxes. However we turn to look and see the servers, bartenders and hostess were on the corner of the bar complaining how slow it is. Head down and phone in hand. The only person working was a bus boy working on the table behind us. I asked the bus boy hoping he could get our server's attention to bring some boxes and the check However upon asking him to send our server over, he said " I don't know who your server is" ..... I was taken aback as your server coworkers were 2 tables down looking down at their phone. I feel it's rude for me to get their attention if I called my server from across the restaurant that's why I asked him but for him to just shoot down my request was not right either. Before leaving the restaurant I went to the restroom and found that the toliet had dried pee over the seats and was deemed unsanitary to sit on. Upon leaving passing by the servers or hostess no one said goodbye or thank you for coming.
I walked out very disappointed that I had experienced such an awful dining experience. I personally work in the hospitality industry and this was awful. Personally I would never eat here again. The service was awful. I didn't feel welcomed. If it's slow maybe check the bathrooms make yourself look busy. Or especially since it was so slow try and engage in providing better service. Again the service was awful would not recommend this restaurant. The food was alright but without good service it made the dining experience just sad.
Edit 3 weeks later. Travis the operating partner invited us back and the experience was phenomenal. Our server Miranda took care of us. It was a night and day difference. When looking through the menu my roommate said he was vegan and she acknowledged his dietary restriction and even though she wasn't completely sure of what items are vegan, she did go ask the head chef for clarification. Miranda at every course would stop by to check in. She anticipated our needs and was very friendly and informative. Food was great and the environment was very welcoming. Overall my opinion has changed. Would definitely come back again. Thank you again to Travis and Miranda for the best...

The restaurant's decor elegantly blends traditional Asian elements with a modern flair, creating a comfortable yet sophisticated atmosphere.
Our server was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless from start to finish. The menu, an impressive collection of Pan-Asian dishes, offers a wide variety of options catering to every palate, from spicy to sweet, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.
The highlight of our meal was the signature Chang's Lettuce Wraps, a perfect blend of minced chicken, mushrooms, green onions, and water chestnuts served with crispy lettuce leaves. It was a refreshing start to our meal. For the main course, the Mongolian Beef stood out with its tender, flavorful slices of beef paired with scallions and garlic, creating a savory dish that melted in the mouth.
Not to be overlooked, the handcrafted cocktails and the extensive wine list complemented our meal beautifully, with recommendations from our server that perfectly matched our dishes.
Dessert was the perfect finale, with the Banana Spring Rolls being particularly memorable. Served with coconut-pineapple ice cream and drizzled with caramel and vanilla sauces, it was the perfect blend of warm and cold, sweet and savory.
In conclusion, P.F. Chang's at the Galleria is not just about dining; it's about an experience. The combination of delicious food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit destination for those seeking a high-quality Pan-Asian dining experience in the area. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply in the mood for some exquisite Asian cuisine, P.F. Chang's promises an...
Read moreIt’s unfortunate that I have to write this review because I’ve eaten here so many times, def a fav in our house.
An item was missing from our delivery order. I called the location to speak with management, the first response was “sorry that happened” with no resolution provided. After going back back and forth, the resolution she came back with was to see if doordash would deliver the single missing item, but I was advised that they “may not send a driver for that.” Doordash agreed to deliver the single item 45mins from then.
Due to such a long wait, I requested to be sent a fresh meal with the missing item as a pair (because they go together), she argued that since there’s nothing wrong with the other item she couldn’t do that.
…More back and forth about finding a resolution, finally she understood how ridiculous it was to expect me to eat 45 min old/cold food with the other item that was being delivered fresh…she finally agreed to send a whole new meal with the missing item.
THEN. Doordash cancelled the new order, since she didn’t check on the order status or follow up… I had to call the store myself. The host who answered the phone had me on hold for 15mins and kept reminding me that as the host, “it wasn’t his job to see what’s going on with the order but he’ll try.”
The manager got back on the phone and had to request a new driver (that would take another 45 minutes).
I didn’t feel at all like she cared or actually wanted to rectifying their mistake. Even though she apologized, I felt zero sincerity.
The most frustrating, and the least customer service oriented experience I’ve had in a long time.
The original order was placed at 2:45…finally the correct order was delivered at 5:27…unacceptable. Not to mention, the bag wasn’t stapled closed for...
