RE:HAB Bar on the Bayou — Restaurant in Houston

Wonderful Outdoor Live Music venue ! This bar is small on the inside but they have a covered patio and a large backyard where the bands play. There is a dance area outside and lots of socially distanced tables, chairs, benches...even a swing!

The lighting and "yard art" make this a magical place to enjoy great #livemusic. They host a wide range of music artists. Check out their FB page for events.

The parking lot is small but there is plenty of street parking. Cover charge is usually around $5...plus tip the band! 😊 Food usually available. Mixed ages..depending on the band on stage. Masks required inside, but not outdoors. Drinks are reasonably priced.

Very casual atmosphere with friendly folks and a wonderful owner/manager (Grace) who is easy to work with for special events.

This is one of the special "dive bar, hole-in-the-wall" places that you don't want to miss! Bring your friends and enjoy a safe, special evening of #livemusic...

Parking is limited. It's charm comes from being at the crossroads of a neglected part of the city, near encroaching construction but still isolated. Once the multi story condos are finished two blocks away, someone with deep enough pockets will develop this into a spruced up eatery with a great outdoor area that will appeal to a trendy crowd. For now, it's a great place to get away from the white collar oriented lifestyle that has cookie-cluttered all development. Love this place! Tenders are friendly, prompt, and down to earth. Patrons are there to have a good time. Re:HAB isn't fancy, but it isn't a rat hole either. Re:HAB is comfortable. It is an awesome place to relax, have conversations, meet new people, and be yourself. Parking is difficult, and sometimes patrons double park. BUT there is no need to worry because everyone is willing to move their car instead of sweating the small stuff. Re:HAB doesn't have a kitchen, but the last time I was there they had hotdogs, nachos, and Frito pie available. Another time we ordered pizza to be Door Dashed to the bar. See, just a chill place...
