Paying $10 to wait 15 mins for a few bites of a half melted mess of ice cream with no selection was not worth it. I will not be returning.
They only have 6 flavors of "gelato" (soft serve that comes out of the wall), and they were out of the only chocolate flavor they had, and two of the remaining flavors were vanilla.
The wait time was ridiculous. We had to wait about 15 mins from the time were paid for our order to the time we got our ice cream. There were only 3-4 customers in front of us.
The ice cream came out as a tiny portion (a few bites at best) that was already half melted. When they hurriedly pushed the ice cream to my girlfriend the sloppy mess ended up all over her dress. We asked about napkins and were only directed to and empty napkin dispenser and when we asked for napkins again they just directed us again to the empty dispenser. The lady in front of us had this same problem when her shake came out a sloppy mess and no napkins to...
Read moreIf you are looking for a place to impress out of town guests or to take a picture you can post on social media, then this is the place. However, if you are looking for a great gelato or sorbet, stay away. No matter how fancy the production is, it does not cover the lack of flavor or authenticity. This is no “gelato” or “sorbet” as they claim. This is basically soft serve. It even comes out of the soft serve machine. It was so funny that when we I said “ice cream” I was corrected to “gelato”. I don’t know how anyone can get gelato or sorbet out of a soft serve machine. The other funny thing is the shapes of their popsicles, even one shaped like a nose. Again, the taste is awful. It is cute, but cuteness quickly fades, particularly when you are paying more than $6 per small serving or a 2-3...
Read moreDon’t get me wrong, I’m never sending back gelato. It’s good. Not what I expected. Maybe that’s why I left a little disappointed. There are only a few flavors and it’s served soft-serve ice cream style- out of the wall. I tried the coconut lavender, it was ok but opted for the chocolate in a cone. Chocolate can’t be bad, right? It was fine. It’s not sweet. Very creamy consistency. You have the option to pick up to 3 toppings. That’s fun. I know they’re just opening and trying to work out the kinks. There’s no direction as to where you should start with two separate entrances signage would be helpful. So, you pay first and then get your gelato and toppings. The decor is darling and the people working there seemed to be very overwhelmed. I’ll try it again in...
