Me and my friends went on Friday 4/12, with a party of seven for my birthday. We had been looking forward to our evening, given your establishment’s reputation for quality in both food and service.
Regrettably, our experience did not meet our expectations, largely due to the level of service provided. Our server, whose name I unfortunately do not recall, was noticeably unfriendly and slow in both taking our orders and serving our table. This not only created a significant delay but also left our table cluttered and unattended for most of our stay. Her manner was less than courteous, with visible frustration in response to our inquiries and requests.
After some time, the situation did improve slightly when the manager kindly relocated us to another table and allowed us to continue our evening, for which we were very appreciative. However, this positive turn was short-lived. Despite our initial experience and having been moved, we decided to order additional food and drinks. To our dismay, within 15 minutes, the same server approached us with the check and inquired about how much we intended to spend, undermining the understanding that our minimum spend was $100 per person. This was surprising and quite presumptive, considering our demonstrated intent to enjoy more of what your restaurant has to offer.
Including a mandatory gratuity service charge under these circumstances felt unjust, given the level of service that was imposed on us. We were prepared to meet, if not exceed, the minimum spend per person, anticipating a service that matched the high standards of your establishment.
I am providing this feedback not from a place of grievance but in the hopes that it will be constructive. Your restaurant has great potential, and it is unfortunate that our experience was overshadowed by service issues that could potentially be addressed.

We chose this place because their posted hours said they closed at 2 AM, which sounded perfect for enjoying a few drinks and extending our night. When we arrived around 10 PM, the atmosphere was great and the waitress took our order. We were enjoying ourselves until about 11:50 PM, when the waitress asked if we’d like another round. We said yes, but when she returned just a few minutes later, she brought our drinks and the check even though we hadn’t asked for it. Almost immediately after, the lights came on, the music was turned off, and staff started cleaning tabled, even brought out the vacums making it very clear they wanted us to leave. Not even ten minutes had passed since we received our drinks before we were being rushed out. It felt extremely disrespectful and uncomfortable, especially since we came specifically expecting to have more time based on the listed hours. If the bar closes early, the hours should be updated so customers don’t come in under false expectations. Read moreI’m extremely unhappy with how my birthday went which was supposed to be at Segreto Lounge. After being told that you had availability for my girls and I to celebrate my 30th, I responded and followed up twice to confirm. When we arrived at Segreto Lounge we were told we couldn’t come in. There was a big group of people waiting that said they hadn’t even heard of being able to make reservations and so we knew we were the only ones in the group waiting outside that went out of our way to make a reservation. The lady outside with the iPad said whoever we spoke to must have not put our reservation in and she would not honor the fact that I showed her this email. She told us unless we know the owner we can’t get in. We were turned away and as we waited for our Ubers to pick us up (after we already ubered all this way) we saw all the people who didn’t have reservations let in. This ruined my night as we were so excited to have come up with a plan and had chosen Segreto to be the place we got cocktails at.
