BIBIBOP Asian Grill — Restaurant in Huber Heights

I have been to this location 3 other times, and food as well as service was great. In fact, all my other experiences at all locations (I travel a bit) were awesome and what I have come to expect. HOWEVER I believe that I got a bit of a FOOD POISONING on 11/22/2024. I did call and a team member cut me off to tell me that food poisoning occurs a day later. Well, I HAVE FOOD SERVICE CERTIFICATIONS AND I DO NOTICE ALL KINDS OF FOOD HANDLING SITUATIONS AT PLACES. Generally I order to go and do a sweep of the location. Like I said usually I can count on feeling okay about eating what Bibibop puts out. Oh, once at Perrysburg, Ohio location there was a woman on the line who was wiping the counter with a wet rag and gloves on. Customer comes in, she just begins the food, not changing gloves AFTER washing hands. Yeah. Besides that (which I didn't complain about. But ehhhh, yeah that's unsettling and unacceptable) no issues. Well anyway on 11/22 I did see backline make what looked to be my order (ordered online), but from a bit of a distance I even noticed that the bean sprouts were limp like noodles. Lol, I thought it wasn't mine. Lo and behold, it was. I wish I would have taken a photo, I generally don't shake off weird feelings about food but I was hungry and know that I am pretty rigid about food safety. I mean I leave places, shoot my kids laugh at me as I try not to look when food being made anywhere as I see some pretty bad stuff lol. Yeah. Couple hours later I had stomach cramps in waves, sweat bursts, nausea, diarrhea. Fun. Anyway back to me calling, the member dismissed me so I interrupted them to notify them that food poisoning can in fact do so. I was cramping so bad and yes a bit upset that the worker most likely would do nothing about it. It IS a big deal, and they should at least document it. So, I feel better the day after poor sleep and just dehydrated after all that. Hope that they did pull the food and no one else fell ill. I have NEVER complained about this at a place EVER, as I haven't been sure. Other than me going to get a stool sample I AM SURE that it was good from here. Not happy with that and how the...

This is an amazing taste experience. The restaurant is always clean fresh food and always exceeds my expectations on flavor. The location of this BiBibop is close to the interstate and very accessible. I recommend sitting down inside and taking advantage of the miso soup that comes complimentary with your bimbibap bowl. This is an awesome Korean influenced menu. I usually get the spicy chicken or the teriyaki beef bowls. Of course I get the purple rice. You can get the white rice if you want but you’re missing out on the purple rice. I drive over 30 minutes just to get this flavor experience. When I leave I usually have half of my bowl to eat more at home. The vitamins and nutrition in these bowls are amazing. Add the kale and the sprouts. The staff is friendly and always welcomes me. I absolutely LOVE Bibibop. I just went today for the first time in about a month give or take. We started off my order having to wait for noodles, that’s fine I was okay with that. I asked for half noodles and half white rice. I know I’m weird. When the noodles were ready the lady put noodles and purple rice in my bowl. I proceeded to say I’m sorry I wanted white rice. She then scooped some of the purple rice out of my bowl and put it back in the rice container, leaving some purple rice still in my bowl. I then asked for potatoes. Probably got about 4 total potatoes and asked for more but was ignored. I used to get cucumber all the time it would just make my bowl 100x better idk what it was about it.
