Never thought I would be doing a review at a place I used to work at but i have to be honest since I no longer make my own food from this place.
The staff that still remain from my time there are great people and will make sure your order is right and if not will take care of you. The original owner still works there and will personally make sure your taken care of as well. They will also make you have a clean table and that the bathrooms stay stocked and clean. However with the changes of management and now the push on making it corporate I can not be silent about the changes to the place. The food quality has gone down hill due to the portions being changed and some of the changes from the suppliers. No longer is their small bags of chips which were limited in flavors but were a nice solution if you didnt want fries. The hoagie which was a personal favorite in the past is now an item I avoid due to the quality of the meat which to me seems different. The grilled chicken has taken a big change compared to the old chicken which is a huge upgrade and now sells out when it is the sub of the week. The increased prices on the select few items is not noticeable which is one complaint alot of the older customers had but times change in the game. The chili is still one the biggest reasons I go there. The recipe which to those who have worked there still know to this day is simple but yet effective. The price is good for the quality and will have you coming back for more every time. The onion rings are still amazing as ever. The wings are still small and could go down on the price but I'm going to say it how it is. What other places sells Subs Chili Fried Items Wings and Salads while still being considered fast food?
Staff wise I really cant say since one of the reviews mentioned julls being inside the bathroom which would not have happend when I worked there but then again when you hire nothing but highschool student who just see it as a way to make some money while the people who take that job seriously have to pick up the dead weight you can see what could happen. With what I've experienced since leaving is honestly how I left it. Some were nice which are my former co workers while the rest just go with the flow untill they clock out.
Over all Super Subbys is still a good place to go eat at. They still do catering with the tray orders of their subs and Chilis if you want quart size chilis. The price could be fixed up a bit and for the people that complain about staff just remember half of them are high school students. The location is located next to the Theater and dance studio which is also right off of 70 so its convenient for on the go. Please show this place the support it needs and give them so of your feed back if you have any problems or if you just want to tell them how good your...
Read moreFull disclosure - I just plain love their food! We've all got places like that, where we just dig the food so much. This is one of mine. They are primarily a sub shop but they also have some amazing chili, roo. (I always add mushrooms to it.) They have bread that is a little soft - love that - and tastes so good. They have subs in three sizes, which is great, too. Most places have a six inch and a foot long but they also have an eight inch. They have a ton of subs to choose from and they have never messed up a special order. They are also fast, so I will often eat here right before going to see a movie at the Cinemark right...
Read moreMy tenderloin had no meat in it whatsoever and obviously was not prepared right and my daughter’s Italian sub had salami/pepperoni that was cut so lazy that the meat was thicker than the onion rings. Only thing eatable was the wings and onion rings. I also left a review on door dash which for some reason hasn’t been shared. This is the third time y’all have done me like this and I will never eat here again. I don’t even want my money back because I took a risk eating something that I really use to enjoy as a kid and now their food is disgusting and carelessly prepped by the cooks. Save time and order...
