I tried hard to look for the good in people an in situations. However my experience at this McDonald's location it is challenging to even see a silver lining. The best part was leaving before I exploded it how rude and disrespectful the manager was who I interacted with. When I first arrived at this location that by the way I've been going to on and off for 30 years, I expected I would have a good visit as I've never had a negative experience at this restaurant. However tonight was different as I arrived at 8:50 p.m. with all intentions of getting my meal and eating it in the lobby when I went up to the South entrance which is the main entrance to go in the lobby to avoid walking past drive-thru on the north side, I found both doors to be locked. I double checked and saw that the stated lobby closing time was 10:00 p.m. so I wondered what was up and there appeared to be enough workers in there but I did not know. I proceeded to go to the drive-thru which they had two of them. When I went in the Drive-Thru, I waited for a minute or two and finally someone came to the speaker I asked the question why was the lobby locked and they said they didn't know. I can't fault to drive through person for that then I said I generally get a side of slivered onions is there going to be a problem with that before I order because they generally don't charge for them. I waited over 2 minutes for a response and heard some clicking sounds on the speaker so I thought maybe the person went to check with the manager. I'm not sure what happened and I got fed up and was going to leave but then I went to the other drive-through and asked to speak with the manager. The mail manager on duty came to the phone and I asked him why the lobby was closed and he said it was not and I said I went to the South doors and they're both locked. He told me the North side was open and that didn't make much sense why you wouldn't have the entire lobby open especially since most of the people park on the south side and the north side has the risk of parking and walking across the drive-thru Lane. . The conversation didn't feel good by the tone of his voice or the attitude that I perceive but I decided to go into the lobby so I wouldn't have any trouble with my coupon or with getting my order right. When I went in the north side of the lobby the young manager with dark hair came to the counter and I asked his first name again as I did at the drive-thru and he refused to give it to me I identified myself by giving my name and I found it strange to refuse to give me his name and I asked him and told him it didn't feel very friendly and welcoming to not give me his name as I was trying to be friendly and then his response was "oh well" which clearly was said in a smart aleck way like he didn't care about me or if anyone was going to complain on him or what anyone thought.. then he asked me if I was going to order. And I responded that I changed my mind and was not going to do business at this restaurant. This was the only negative experience I can ever recall having at this restaurant in over 30 years and it's probably in my top two or three ever of the most rude manager I've ever met who clearly thought they were above the law and not accountable for their actions. They poorly represent McDonald's and they poorly represent this restaurant if it happens to be a franchise. This person should apologize to me in person and should not be a manager at all. I hope that his supervisors say something to him so he doesn't turn away more business. He's a huge disappointment and hopefully he can get some help and leave his attitudes at home because it definitely kept me from spending money there today and while I'm visiting town. Read moreIf I owned this establishment I would be utterly mortified to know how my employees act. Employees where yelling at each other, mocking each other and not being kind. I placed my order at 7 and didn't receive it until 724. I totally respect when you are busy; however, there where multiple orders placed after ours and received their food. When I asked about it one gal didn't even respond to me, instead turned and yelled, "does anyone see number 1606 up on the screen". So I asked again, I was ignored. Then I asked if I could just cancel my order and this young guy goes behind their lil wall by the cash registers and has the audacity to MOCK ME! I seriously would never recommend this place to anyone. To make matters worse my six year old child witnessed all of these actions. I am mortified as a customer, the owners of managers should be highly embarrassed how their staff perfom and how they display themselves to customers. Also, if these are your children please teach them respect, you never know what another person is going through and I was just trying to brighten my daughter's day, instead she had to witness bullying, yelling and mocking. Read moreI went through the drive through the other day and ordered the Big Mac bundle (2 Big Macs and 20 pc nugget) I got to the first window to pay when I realized I would need an additional 10pc nugget so I ask the lady at the first window. She adds it on and asks if I wanted to round up, which I did and drove up (this caused me to forget to grab a receipt) when I got to the second window they didn’t have that added to our order and it was a last min change so no big no I just asked them for the additional 10pc to which the worker began to accuse me of lying about adding the additional 10pc. The manager came and asked for the receipt which I didn’t grab from the previous window. The manager was EXTREMELY rude and continues to accuse me of not having paid for the extra 10pc but wouldn’t ask the lady at the first window if I added it, or look in the computer for the change. She argued with me for a good 3-4 minutes before finally pulling the transaction from the computer and seeing I was right and she THREW the bag of chicken nuggets into my vehicle and slammed the window shut.
