My experience at Jason’s Deli in Huntersville NC was truly life changing for me as well as my family. I feel it’s important to share my experience in hope’s if a situation like mine ever happens again it will be handled better than the experience I had.
February 25,2018 we stopped to have lunch after my daughters game. While in the restroom I slipped and fell on what I believe to be water. As a result of that fall I broke my ankle and the ambulance had to come and take me to a local hospital. I had surgery March 4,2018 to repair my broken ankle.
Not one time did the manager at Jason’s Deli that was working that day ever ask me my name, if there was anything he could do, he was sorry that I was injured as a result of my fall or if I would like a cup of water.
The manager was fully aware of the situation and still chose not to speak to me. I found that to be unprofessional, lacking emotion, disrespectful and rude.
Jason’s Deli has not paid any of my medical bills, or reached out to apologize for such a life changing experience.
I feel like the situation could have been handled with more compassion and a more professional manner.
I don’t think they realize how this experience affected me and my family. My husband had to take of work to care for me and our youngest daughter. He was out of work for months and I was out of work 8 months.
I missed out on so much with my daughter! I missed two tournaments where her team won the championship in both tournaments. Those are moments in her life I will never get back. As well as countless other times in her life I missed.
As a result of my injury we had to cancel a cruise we were going on the end of March. I lost the money we paid for the cruise way before my experience at Jason’s Deli. My children we looking forward to our cruise. They were devastated that we had to cancel our family vacation.
So the entire experience has affected me and my family in a devastating way.
My ankle will never be the same, my families life will never...
Read moreI took the time to call the store and speak to the manager about missing ingredients (no pasta salad, no asiago cheese) and the overall poor quality of my salad because I felt it was out of character for them. He was defensive rather than helpful, definitely not customer service oriented, wanted to blame the Dasher for the fact that the salad was packed on its side in a brown paper bag that was barely large enough for it. When I told him I've been ordering salads from Jason's Deli on the regular for several years and this is the first time it has come to me packed this way (hence the reason for my call), he chose to argue back that he's "been there for 3 years and it has always been packed this way". I suppose it is possible that I've just been lucky til now, but assuredly if it had always come this way I would not have taken time out of my evening to call about it. To be honest, my reason for this negative review is more a reflection on the poor attitude of the manager than the food. But regardless of how tasty the food may be (and honestly, even that has declined), I will not be giving my business to this location again. And if you do, a word of advice - don't waste your time trying to speak with a manager if you have an issue because...
Read moreWe love to eat at Jason’s deli. Never had a bad meal until now. My wife and I ordered 2 Beefeaters (French Lick sandwiches) with Au Jus sauce from Jason’s in Huntersville. John, who works in the kitchen serving area, brought us our order and while he was unloading his tray, spilled Au jus sauce all over my wife’s cell phone and in her mask which was on our table. John casually said “sorry about that” and Immediately left. We thought he was coming right back with some napkins or towel. He never returned. My wife had to go back to the register and ask for some napkins. She told the girl at the register what John had done and came over to clean up the chair, table, and dab around her mask. Her mask was soaked with Au Jus and unable to reuse. Did I mention that there was only one other party of 4 in the whole restaurant? John should be fired if he thinks that’s how you are to treat customers. It wasn’t busy at all. Update: Jason’s manager contacted me and apologized for our inconvenience. He offered us a complimentary gift card which we used last Sunday. We had a very pleasant experience this time and the food was delicious. I have regained my faith in Jason’s and look forward to many return visits....
