Shake Shack Huntersville — Restaurant in Huntersville

I’m not a regular customer of this place at all. This is a new location for the company and a new food experience for me. I don’t like to comment on price or wait time because with those you personally have a choice wether you want to pay for the food or not which if it looks too expensive for you then don’t buy it or if the line looks too long and your the impatient type then don’t wait it’s as simple as that for me. I’ve been here twice period and both times the place was extremely busy at least a 20-30 minute wait for food after ordering. So first time ever coming here it was busy but I took a chance and ordered anyway and my order was correct no problems. The second time coming (the very next day) again it was busy my burger was completely wrong and fries were cold when I received my food. Now this is on my lunch break so I have an hour and that’s it, absolutely (1pm) no time for order redos especially after waiting 20-30 mins for my order and drive 10 mins down the road to get it. So I get back to work and sit down to eat and again the $10+ burger is totally wrong so I didn’t touch it at all I just left it wrapped the way they had it. I also ordered a hot dog and fries which were correctly made so at least I did have food to eat for my lunch break. So upon leaving work to go home I stopped back pass the restaurant to attempt to explain the situation and possibly get a refund as now it’s 5:30-6pm and now it’s like 5hrs later and dinner time. So I spoke to Frank and explained what happened and that’s when he blew me away with his actions!! Now I personally had all intentions to never go back to this location as it’s just too busy and my break time is precious to me. Lol But!!! Frank again took care of me, he not only gave me a refund but he made me another burger exactly how I asked for it originally and apologized for the mistake that been made earlier that day. NOW THATS WHAT I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! And he FRANK is the reason I will give them another shot, he’s the reason I will mention Shake Shack if someone asks about a good burger joint in the area. In my line of work I talk to people who live,shop and eat in this community on the daily basis both long standing and new residents to the area so my opinion and recommendation goes a long way. My family and I are shake shack connoisseurs. We have tried shake shacks all over the United States. We were so happy that this location was going to be within 20 minutes from us. We have had issue after issue with this location! The burgers are always over cooked. Or items are left out of the bag. The latest issue was this past weekend we ordered food to go. The promise time was 6:30 (we had somewhere to be at 7) we wait, wait and wait and at 6:55 I told my husband that we had to leave!

We end up going to our event with two starving kids. I call and complain to the manager. He tells me that there is no way to gage the promised pickup time during the weekends. That the promise time could be off by 30-40 min. However, he would give me a refund being that we never picked up the food. He would also email me a coupon.

Days later…no coupon via email and no refund has been issued. I just called an encountered the rudest manager to date! She tells me that they don’t send coupons via email they send them via address. However, never asked for my address. She also never offered to look up my order to verify that a refund had been issued.

I am sad to say that we will no longer be visiting this location. Not after this latest experience. It’s been one...

This place is confusing, over priced, and doesn't follow proper sanitation. After ordering, the cashier asked for my phone number and informed me that they will text or call me when the order is ready. We waited for roughly 15 minutes in one of the tables available for dine in and no one brought our food. I walked to the pick up section to find out that they were just calling out the names of the oder. In a place full of people no one can hear that. Second for $31 all we got were 2 double burgers, 1 order of bacon and cheese fries (looked like snack size), and two large drinks. I have never been to a burger place that charged so much but yet gave you so little. Third point, is they were not sanitizing properly. While we were waiting for our food we saw customers leave and no one would sanitize the table they were at. In fact a couple of times a table would be free right after the customer left and a new set of people would sit down without anyone cleaning it.

Overall don't come here. The burgers look similar to steak n shake or Freddy's but cost triple amount. I didn't feel safe eating here, since tables weren't being cleaned. Would not...
