Have it Some Way -- a Burger King Story
I remember when fast food, especially Burger King, was good- all the time. You would be bummed because you had 3 bad fries. I harken back to a bygone era, that our young people should strive for.
Let's examine this deeper.. If you sit in the drive through for a half hour, and get fries that are clearly more than a half hour old, what happened? How do they always have fries that old? Does anyone get fresh fries? Why is this the norm?
You might suggest the kids making the food simply don't know what they're doing. That is rebutted simply- i guarantee you, the food they cook for themselves on their break is fresh and correct, every day.
These days, it seems like there's no point in asking for no pickles, onions, or any special instructions at all. If you do get the burger without mustard, like you asked, it's painfully obvious that the mustard was soaking into your burger for the last 15 minutes before getting haphazardly wiped off and into the trash before being handed over. Is it some secret inside joke to make food as bad as possible?
For years now, we have speculated that it's because they don't care, or they're distracted tweeting and ticking and tocking. I mean, why would they ask you what you wanted to drink? It's not important. You probably would have said coke, anyway. Simple statistics, duh.
Seriously, we know fast food employees don't care about making half decent food, or they would. Why are they so rude, and so angry? Does making chicken tendies upset them? It used to be because they only made $7/hr, now they make double. It's not that they're understaffed, we've been through covid now, and have seen what skeleton crews truly look like. Is it on purpose?
I know there's a solution to the problem. Look at the reviews on this page. Everyone here knows they're going to get horrible food from this Burger King. I've quit going to all fast food, except once a year when i forget how universally bad it is. Almost everyone i know is the same, it's not worth it.
Dear Burger King, What can we, your check enabling patrons, do for you? Help us fix the situation, reestablish homeostasis to the fastfood world. Please. We are tired of having...
Read moreRead moreThis location was recently remodeled, but they probably should have remodeled the staff as well. I went during lunch today and it wasn’t busy. I walked straight up to the counter and ordered. The employee taking my order wasn’t friendly, but meh, that doesn’t bother me. As soon as she gave me my total I saw they had a Snickers pie so I asked to add that. They had to put it on a totally separate order which was fine. My experience was only worth 1 star for the following reasons. There were absolutely no condiments out besides jelly (this was at 12pm) and like 3 packs of mustard. When my order was called and I went to the counter I had to wait a few minutes before I was acknowledged so that I could ask for ketchup... all the while the manager passed the counter several times, never offering help. Then i told the employee that I was also waiting on my pie which had clearly been forgotten. She searched 2 refrigerators for the pie before asking the manager if they had any, to which he responded that they only had the Oreo cheesecake. She asked if I wanted that instead and when I said no, that I would just take a refund, she just pointed at the manager (who was still ignoring all customers) and said he would have to do it, without bothering to get his attention to ask him to do it. She proceeded to take the next customers order while I just stood there continuing to be ignored by literally everyone. It took me 5 minutes, my food getting colder by the minute, to get the attention of the manager to refund my money. No apologies were offered for their mistake, or the wait. It was ridiculous and I won’t be returning... I can spend $8 somewhere else for much better food and much MUCH better service. This business needs to take some lessons from...
Omg! I wish I would have taken pictures of the dark brown burnt shriveled up things they called chicken nuggets!!!! That's the first meal that was ruined. For one of my grandsons wanted a double cheeseburger with ketchup only, He got 2 dried up pieces of burger no cheese and literally two dots of ketchup. My other grandson wanted a Whopper with cheese no onion no pickle.. What he got was Whopper with cheese, EXTRA handful of pickles and all their juice, and a chunk of white lettuce core and no tomatoes I ordered a Whopper with cheese, no onion, no pickle, No mayo, no ketchup add mustard. What I got was a dried up burger puck.. no cheese EXTRA pickles Drowning in mayonnaise AND ketchup. 3 tiny shriveled up pieces of lettuce and no tomato No mustard.. and for the love of God I don't know why I didn't take pictures of everything before most of it was thrown in the trash can... I saved the chicken nuggets and my receipt went in the next day and ask for my money back the same manager was there the night before when I got my food. She didn't apologize she act like I was bothering her she said that sometimes the chicken nuggets come from the manufacturer like that. I busted out laughing when she said that about the nuggets. Then she had the audacity to try and blame it all on an autistic boy working in the back. How dare her try to put the blame on that young man!;!!!! This is the one on North parkway do not go there I will never return there. I said that the last two times I've been there that I'll never go back but I assure you I would never be back to that Burger King again.... Beware plus the places filthy and I mean filthy.. A call to the health department is probably...
