I haven't eaten here in years, and when I tasted my burger and fries I was mentally kicking myself for not coming here at least once a week! The burger was perfect to me; juicy, extremely delicious, VERY fresh toppings, and the bun was so fresh and soft that in its entirety Five Guys left ALL competition in the dust, including the very high dollar ones that use waygu beef and buns that a team of Grandmothers make with Love. The fries are from fresh Idaho potatoes, and they are cooked to crispy, tender, not too salty perfection. It's not a fancy place, and the menu is limited to burgers, fries, hot dogs ( which are also the BOMB DIGGITY! ), BLT's and grilled cheese sandwiches. They also serve amazing milkshakes, and I would go there just to get one of them! The burgers are HUGE! I'm a big eater, yet I order the smallest one because with an order of just the small fries I am stuffed, any more and I would eat myself sick because I cannot stop eating until everything is gone. It's very clean inside, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I believe Five guys trumps every other restaurant that serves burgers blindfolded and with one arm tied behind their back, they don't have a plethora of choices but for what they do offer, they are the best in the...
Read moreI didn't take pictures, because we were so hungry, and just ate the food. The fries are great when hot. As soon as they get cold, well, that is another story. We have been to other Five Guys, and usually, the burgers are great. However, this time, they were without seasoning, a bit dry, and it just didn't do anything for us. Wendy's burger had more seasoning and was juicer than their burger. I ate only half of my burger and small fry and threw the rest away. That isn't me, because I refuse to throw food away. I know how hard it is to work to pay for the food, so I was disappointed in myself. I usually ask for a to go container, but not this time. The service, however, was excellent. The employees got our order correct, and they were very polite. The food part fell short is all. The first time, my bun fell apart, too. It's probably because it was stale. 30 dollars for two people to eat the burgers just wasn't worth the trip to get those. Should have continued to drive home and eaten closer to home. You win some...
Read moreWe hadn’t been to Five Guys in forever because of obvious price gouging, but it was a nice treat after a long week!! Knocked a star off because for two people, and then 2 plain patty burgers for our pups, it was $50!! For fast food, that’s ridiculous. On top of that, the card machine was having major issues and we swiped 2-3 different cards back and forth on each machine numerous times. It finally worked after a system reboot, but for a second it definitely seemed like we might’ve not gotten anything at all after ordering. Overall, the food quality was as good as I remembered. Still delicious and flavorful. The fries are the best and they always give a good handful! Even sitting there to eat would have been enjoyable. It wasn’t loud and was overall very clean. They still have peanuts out to enjoy which was refreshing unlike most places nowadays. If the prices could go back down, that...
