Was on vacation and decided to stop by Red Lobsterbin Huntsville, Alabama on University Dr. I have heard nothing but positive reviews since Mr Adamolekun has become the new CEO. I was there around 5:00 on this past Wednesday…I believe Mondays are crab day….they were all out of snow crab legs. They were out of the Strawberry Lemonade adult beverage on the happy hour menu. So I ordered the margarita, which took 24 minutes and arrived at my table tasting like water. I sent it back. Didn’t want another , just my food. There were guests seated at 3 tables in addition to us. It wasn’t lunch or dinner time and wasn’t crowded. I ordered the filet and lobster tail, medium temperature. After 35 plus minutes , our server Tammy-who was amazing in spite of everything, brought my food out. The lobster tail was dry, my steak was well done, my baked potato with butter, sour cream and cheese was extremely overcooked, hard even, with only about 1/2 teaspoon of butter inside, no cheese, no sour cream. I was beyond upset…..plate looked like a toddler threw some food on it. The only good part about the entire visit was when the manager Nikki came over to see what was going on. She listened to my grievances and offered to remake the food. She was very apologetic and dismayed with how my plate came out of the kitchen. Nikki was patient and tried to be accommodating but the entire situation was very off putting. She was extremely professional in spite of how everything turned out. She is an asset to the company and I hope she is valued and her worth appreciated. Tammy and Nikki are the only reason I gave this location any stars. Do better Huntsville location. This visit definitely left a poor taste in my mouth.

Here is the sad, sad story of how I didn't get my dinner. We placed a togo order online, and when my husband arrived it wasn't ready (even though the restaurant was empty?), which is fine... That happens. However, when he got home and started unpacking it, things went downhill quickly. The steak was straight up RAW. I wish I was exaggerating, but I promise you the thing was still mooing. We couldn't even cut through it. Everything was cold, despite him waiting, and the shrimp was so overcooked it looked like it had been freeze dried. My salmon looks like someone took a bite out of it. All bad. That said, we called the store to see what our options were... if we could bring the food up there, get our money back, etc. We spoke with a manager (Shawn) who told us he would call us back once he spoke with the GM. About 25 minutes later, he called us back saying we would be refunded to our original method (which was mostly on an e-certificate). Since it wasn't a tangible card, we asked for a confirmation that the refund was taking place, and Shawn said he needed to speak with the GM again and would call back. After 30 minutes of not hearing from them, my husband called back to touch base. Multiple times he was hung up on before even speaking to a person. When he finally did get through, he asked to be transferred to a manager they said the manager was busy and my husband said he would be okay holding. They said that wasn't an option and a manager would call him back. That was over an hour ago now, so something tells me that call will never happen 🤷‍♀️

I have enjoyed Red Lobster many times in the past, so I was very disappointed with the overall service today. First of all, it was extremely cold, which restaurants can be cold but even with my sweater, I was freezing. My salad had so much dressing, I couldn't even eat it. My daughter never received her salad although we were charged for it. I ordered the ultimate platter, my loaded baked potato came out plain. There were no sauces on the platter for my seafood. I asked multiple times and I finally got them about 30 minutes later after my food was too cold to eat and we had to ask another server. The server was very friendly and apologetic throughout the whole thing. In the past, a manager has come by to make sure that we were ok but no manager did that. When the bill came we were overcharged for an item which was corrected but not without a sarcastic tone and comments from the manager and we took pictures of what we had been served. Never received a refund for the salad my daughter never got. The food was good, although cold. I had to pack mine up because I only got butter and sour cream in a timely manner for my "loaded potato", so the rest was too cold for me to enjoy. As much as I have enjoyed this place in the past, I was truly disappointed in the revamp and overall quality that Red Lobster has been known to embody.

I made a reservation a week before the actual date we would visit the store ! I had a party of 10 6 adults 4 children! We arrived @6:50 there was 7 of us there at that time we waited 15 mins to be seated which was fine but the table wasn’t ready the restaurant was not even busy my server had 2 tables a 4 top & a 2 top they both had already ordered before we even sat down. We waited 20 mins for drinks regular soda drinks a few of us order alcohol beverages they didn’t come until maybe 30-35 mins of being ordered all watered down because they have been sitting at the bar another server delivered our drinks & one was wrong she did everything she could to make it right just for the drink for my mom and she did once again not our server & this is my sons 11th bday dinner he chose red lobster out of ALL he could choose he chose this he loves seafood we always go juicy crab but he requested red lobster we finally got drinks after 20 mins even been greeted then biscuits my server didn’t even bring my soft drink I ordered or a water because I did order an alcoholic beverage my 4 year old even told the server how hungry he was after waiting over an hour so it was 8:50 still no food still missing a alcoholic beverage my sister in law complained about the time mind you we have 4 kids who are hungry we haven’t eating since lunch the manager informs us the GM is not there and she told me sister in law don’t be disrespectful I will take care of you so we wait and nobody comes over we ask for a check to pay for our drinks we had nothing we finally walk out the waitress comes to our car and says I was putting the food on the tray to bring out lol it’s been 2 hours now since we arrived at the restaurant.. so we come back in and pay for our drinks which was $38.00 we ordered over $200 if not more worth of food I was a server and bartender for 6 years for this establishment to just be reopened & revamped worst experience I had to order food else where once we left there & it was after 9pm there was no apology no care no resolution And the worst part about it is at the store was not even busy, especially for a Friday night So my family went home hungry after waiting two hours and having...

I have eaten at this Red Lobster lots of times over the years of living here but have never ordered online. So early this week I decided to order online as a birthday treat for my daughter & I because we always spend our birthdays at this restaurant & missed it this year. So I spend 85$ on food with tax it was almost 96$ I have to tell you it was the worst food I’ve ever eaten from there. The broccoli was mush ( well over cooked ) the meat chewy, the fries was all dried up . The croutons on the salad was stale. But that’s not the worst of it. We ate and it wasn’t until A few hours later when I looked at my receipt I realized I hadn’t received my mushrooms that I ordered . No big deal I thought , I’ll call the next day and get them to refund. So I called was put on hold for about 8 mins so I decided to call back and hung up .

Then I called back later in the day I was put on hold 3 times (each time I explained my problem) which came to a total of around 18 mins when I last looked at my phone. When the girl finally picked up I explained again I asked to speak to the manager . She told me he was busy in a meeting which I thought was odd at the time I called and that she would have him call me back. She was about to hang up and I said well don’t you need my number ? She replied I have it . I said ok don’t you need my name . She said I have your number . I asked her what her name was so I had a record of who I spoke with IF that manager didn’t call me back. ( which he hasn’t) she told me I don’t have to give you my name . I said yes you do. With that she said no I don’t and slammed the phone down. I have not heard from that manager still. Didn’t expect to to be honest . Yet they still charged me for a starter I didn’t receive. All in all I spent $96.00 and the food was absolutely terrible. The customer service was the worst . I have also called corporate and you guessed it , still waiting on them to call me back. I could call back but I’m waiting to see how long it will take them to pick up the phone . I will not visit this establishment again. I will wait until I travel and go to another one if I need a RED LOBSTER fix . Very...

I had the pleasure of being served by Tacoya at Red Lobster on Mother’s Day. When I say served, I will clarify, as I have worked in hospitality. This is what I mean … "Served" isn't just about bringing food to the table; it's about delivering care, attentiveness, and warmth. A great waitress embodies this by making each guest feel valued, ensuring their experience is smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. To be truly served is to receive more than just a meal—it’s to be welcomed, looked after, and made to feel at home with skill, kindness, and grace. Tacoya is awesome!

People don’t understand that being a server is a difficult job because you are dealing with so many different personalities or long food waits from the kitchen. People stop complaining about wait times on special occasions! The waitress doesn’t have control over the kitchen and if you want it quick… stay home and cook it yourself. Servers are not cooks.

Now as for the food and the kitchen, Red Lobster is consistent with their food. Meaning…It’s a quick seafood preparation.

My major complaint with the food is…someone steamed or boiled the broccoli in the same water as some seafood. That’s a HUGE No No, especially for a vegan, vegetarian or someone allergic to seafood. My husband was kind and laughed when I said this broccoli tastes like clam water. He said… I wasn’t going to say it out loud, but yes it does. So, for the Kitchen staff and its Manager- STOP doing this.

I also hate how the linguini was mushy and has too much water when plated. It does not absorb the cream sauce because it has too much water. The meal tasted like a mess of seafood on old oatmeal.

But, like I said Red Lobster is consistent and I usually stick with same meal. I changed this time and it was not good. Try testing other pasta instead of noodles that expand or expire when not served quickly.

So, thanks again to my server and hopefully my comments reach the kitchen manager and general manager for consideration. The broccoli steamed or boiled in seafood water could cause you serious problems if...
