The worst Denny's I've ever been to. I love this restaurant, and there's only one in our town, and I can honestly say I'd rather go to Conroe. I came into this place at 8:30pm 06/13/2015 and was given the waiter Neal (reddish blonde hair, scruffy unshaven face, disheveled). He took a minute to get to us, which is fine, we wanted Denny's and they had a couple customers (4 tables seated at the time throughout). Our table was soiled, had bits of salad left on one of the place mats (we requested a two-person booth) and missing silverware. When we told Neal this, he took the place mat and knocked the contents onto the floor, made a sneezing sound and laughed it off. He noticed that we were down a silverware and said how "unacceptable" that was. Next he took our drink order, a coffee and a new iced caramel coffee. We never received said drinks, after fifteen minutes we left. In the interim, another young couple sat down across from us and the waitress, long brown hair and headband, took their order, was bubbly and professional, got them their drinks within seconds. I was astounded. I called the manager, Danielle, who was less than a delight to talk to, end of the conversation I felt that she wasn't going to do anything about what had transpired, nor does she care. In losing a customer, she was totally indifferent. Overall, if you've read this, avoid this Denny's until the night crew has been replaced. What was once a very nice atmosphere and a place I'd loved to have gone is now a place I avoid. And in this town? Choices are few. Thank you for reading, I hope it helps.    Read moreMy husband and I continue to come here because this is where we had our first date several years ago. The service is almost always great. The food is usually very good, especially on overnights. When we have had issues with the food we have dealt with the blonde manager- I think her name is Christine or Christina- and every time we have dealt with her has been horrible. She argues, blames the customer's taste, and generally has an attitude. She has even blatantly just walked away from us when we were in the middle of talking to her. Extremely unprofessional. We have even asked for the owners name and hours he's available and she refused to tell us. We have witnessed her being borderline abusive to employees and very rude to other customers. She never greets customers with a smile, or goes to tables to ask how things are. Truth be told we avoid the establishment if we see her car. Other managers, like Talley and Timothy ALWAYS greet us with a smile and constantly come by our table to make sure our experience is great. The owner would do much better if he promoted those two and got rid of Christina. More than once she has upset us enough that we don't come back for awhile.    Read moreMy dad and I came here to have breakfast before his 9am appointment. We arrived and walked inside at exactly 8am. We sat down and ordered drinks. It took about 10 minutes for us to get our drinks and for the waitress to get our order. We waited, and waited, and waited some more. At 8:35 after still not getting our food and getting zero update we got up to leave. As we were paying for our drinks we told her to cancel our order. The waitress told us our food would be out any minute and we explained to her that we didnât have enough time to eat it because my dad had an appointment he needed to get to. As we paid the waitress said she would box it up. We both ordered French toast so even being boxed up, by the time we would be able to eat it the food would have been cold and soggy so we declined. The waitress got very rude and told us we were wasting food. She didnât mind wasting our time though. The check out lady said they were really busy but that was not true. There was about 3 or 4 other tables taken in the entire restaurant. There is also a water leak from the roof that needs to be fixed. My dad comes to this Denny location once a week for the last year.
