I was a regular customer to El Coyote (2-3 times a week) until today. One of their employees threw a tantrum over a previous order (1-2 months old) in front of my colleagues while we were waiting for our food. El Coyote lost 4-5 regular customers today because of one ignorant employee. It was utterly embarrassing and humiliating listening to him going on and on for 5 minutes straight. Finally I decided to pay for my sweet tea and leave El Coyote for good (or next the meal I'm going to have their spit and other stuff). I've heard that El Coyote has a very hostile staff that treats you rudely. The only reason I have been a regular customer because the food was alright. Read moreI was down in Huntsville Alabama picking my daughter up from Space Camp and she wanted Mexican as we were driving back to Nashville. It has been a long time since I have had Tex Mex (I've been unable anything decent to find it in New Jersey where I currently am transplanted.)
I am so glad we did! Memories of TexMex from when I was younger. Really enjoyed this place (and so did my daughter.) She thought it was the best Mexican she's ever had (and likely true since she's grown up in New Jersey.)
My husband didn’t like his food as much as our local restaurants where we live in Arkansas. Personally I loved their shredded chicken enchiladas just as much if not more than the ones back home. The rice was very good, but the refried beans were not good. The service was good. Prices were much higher than what I’m used to especially for the portions given. I didn’t order one, but their margaritas were almost double the price of what I typically see. The inside was fun and clean, but the bathroom was dirty. The tv was really loud.
