Okay, so I read the reviews for a few Dunkin locations... I like their donuts and their coolata is very yum. Their sandwiches are to die for, it's hit or miss with the different locations. I work at a Dunkin' store.I can understand that most people may think the process of serving coffee and donuts shouldn't be that difficult considering its a "fast food" job. When the drive-thru is wrapped around the building and there are a million things going on inside the store-it's a little different-especially when most people need a cup of coffee to even be functional in the mornings. People come in and order "light and sweet" Simple-right? It would be-if "light" only means extra cream. i.e. light color. "light" also means non-fat, as in skim milk. "light and sweet"- don't be upset when someone who CARES about how your coffee tastes-asks you "how light and sweet?" If an order is unclear-questions will be asked. I've never been to a Boston Dunkin' to hear the terminology- but I can make coffee in my sleep, if it is ordered in the correct fashion.(Apparently us Texans are simpletons...or maybe we just want to get to the point already) Just order the coffee how you want it- "extra cream and sugar" etc. We aren't here to read minds and decide what you mean. Ordering a "Latte lite" is asking for a nonfat latte. I waste precious minutes of YOUR time when I have to remake something that you ask for in the wrong way. Also- A CHOCOLATE GLAZED DONUT IS A CHOCOLATE CAKE DONUT WITH GLAZE. People get so upset about "the wrong donut" when they asked for "the wrong donut." Want a plain donut with Chocolate Frosting on top?? ORDER A CHOCOLATE FROSTED DONUT! We are at work to serve you politely and accurately-and will do so whether you are rude and belligerent or not. I'm often disgusted by customers' behavior and attitude toward the people trying to give them what they ask for. Keep in mind, every location is run by a different manager. We aren't working for the Dunkin' Donuts Franchise- we work for our manager's store. So before you trash the name all together- specify the location, and mention something helpful towards fixing the problem you may have. And realize that there aren't as many locations here as there are upstate. This is a new thing. A little patience...
Read moreNow I’ve been coming to this Dunkin’ for about 6 years and I come to this one specifically bc my coffee order is usually consistent. I’m also not the type to write reviews, good or bad. But this morning I placed my order on the app at 8:16am and arrived at 8:27. I ordered two iced coffees and a wake up WRAP. My two coffees were ready but I didn’t see the wrap, so I ask a worker if it’s ready and maybe just somewhere else besides the pick up area. She went to go ask this tall girl working the oven, who I assume to be a manager, about my order. The manager then shouts out to everyone that If we are waiting on food it is going yo be about a 7 minute wait. Which I understand for people who just places their orders or are currently waiting in the drive thru. I decide to wait another 3 mins and notice that everyone in the drive thru is getting their food that I’m assuming was just placed, so I ask about worker if she can just check to see if they my ticket bc at this point it’s already 8:30 and the rest of my order was ready and I ordered at 8:16 am. She then tells me that they’re backed up and that she cannot guarantee it coming out soon, she then goes to ask the tall girl about my order, I’m assuming she told her what time my order was placed bc I then hear the tall girl very loudly make a face and says “8:20 but okay”. I then receive my wrap about 1 minute after. I could have shown her my order saying it was placed at 8:16 but I didn’t think it was necessary. I understand it’s the morning and it’s busy but my order was placed 10 minutes before I even arrived bc I also have places to be like those in the drive thru. When I finally got to eat/ drink my coffee. #1 coffee was terrible and tasted like swamp water 😐 but #2 my wrap did not even look like a wrap, had half an egg and literally looked like a tostada. I have placed the same order many times before and it is ready on time, so no complaints there, my main complaint is about the manager. Absolutely no need to be petty at 8 am...
Read moreLong read but worth it! Today was me and my wife's last straw with this place. New management is TRASH! We went through the drive through with a relatively large order so we ordered slow. Sorry to the people behind us. We ordered 2 iced coffees, 2 teas, 2 avacado toasts, 2 hash browns, and a sourdough breakfast sandwich. They gave us our half of our order and we were waiting for the rest. The guy at the drive thru door, after about 3 or 4 mins, asked us "is there anything I can help you with" rudely I might add. We said we're missing our avacado toast. He then looked behind him where it was then handed it to us. We looked our receipt and saw they didn't give us one of our avacado toasts and one of our hash browns. We said whatever we can deal with those two missing orders and drove off. At the car wash next door our son said "hey what about my tea" so we parked and my wife walked back to get the tea. There was no one in the lobby but about 6-8 employees. She said to them that she's missing a tea that she ordered and they just sat there rudely not answering. It was right there on the counter! They gave her the tea and as she walked back to the car I was about to call her and tell her that they also messed up our son's breakfast sandwich! That was the feather that broke the camel's back. We've been coming here for over three years and for the past several months it's always something with this place. Just yesterday we ordered a relatively small order and they STILL MESSED THE ORDER UP! We were inside ordering at that. We called up there to complain and one of the employees, (I don't know if she was a manager or whatever) Victoria, was making up excuses on the matter. We don't want our money back or a free coffee, we want you to do better and train your employees better! Trust and believe corporate will be...
