Fazoli's — Restaurant in Hurstbourne

Good food. Good service. Bad manager!

Mostly Good experience today at this Fazoli's, minus one glaring issue. We walked in and we immediate addressed and someone was ready to take our order. Quinnasia was her name. We weren't yet ready to order, and had told the cashier we would be a moment. She acknowledged this and waited for us to be ready. While waiting on us, she was adjusting something on her side of the counter. No big deal. Another employee we assume is a lead or manager, while sitting on her butt at a table in the lobby, yelled from behind us, across the lobby to Quinnasia, asking if she was on her phone. She answered no, and the manager like woman told her, "Don't lie to me every again." Mind you, manager can not see where Quinnasia's hands are. The manager had no regard for the fact that there was a customer present, or didn't care. Quinnasia continued to help us with a good attitude and good demeanor. Our food was quick and fresh. No problems with anything other than manager like employee calling out a fellow employee for something she may not have been doing wrong. The cashier handed us a small business card with a link to a review to fill out. I assume she was writing her name on the cards.

Customer service was horrible. The guy was rude before he even took my order. Once I places my order his whole demeanor was negative and sad like he was having a bad day. So he's taking it out on your customers. He didn't have a name tag on so I can't tell you his name. I was there 6/4/19@ 12:48pm, order # 25, receipt says Dakota B but it was a guy that took order and same guy gave me my food. I asked for no ice and he gave me ice anyway. That was a simple request. Then I asked for another cup to pour the ice out and he remakes the drink. Yeah I didn't want that. You had your chance to do it right. Then he leaves to get my food. And takes a long time. 5 plus minutes. Then he came back with two bags . And only gave me one. So he was putting another person's food today. He should of gave me my food first. Why make me wait at the window and the next person doesn't have to wait at all. SMH. Food was hot and good. Drinks was good. The customer service was horrible. Also why does the person who handles money for everyone get to touch our food. He should just grab the bag and hand it to us at the window. I hope you all get better at those...

This Fazoli’s has been over the top wonderful every time I have been here. The customer service cannot be beat. The staff at this location are always so nice and so attentive. They make you feel welcome and they are on top of cleanliness inside the restaurant. The food is hot and accurate. The pepperoni pizza had cheese under the pepperoni pieces and on top of them too! That made for an excellent bite. The new garlic chicken ravioli was out of this world good. I really hope they keep it on the menu. The Chicken Parmesan was great per usual. The portion sizes were large, especially for the price. They had to go boxes in the cafe ready for customers who dined in to grab when they were ready if they needed it and I really liked how convenient that was. The condiment bar was stocked up, organized, and clean. I really cannot suggest this Fazoli’s location enough if you’re looking for a quick Italian meal on the cheap.
