I'm only giving this a 1 star because i can't go any lower. The last 3 times we've been in there have been issues. The first two times I found hair INSIDE my crag ragoon and the lady tried to tell me it wasn't her staff because the wear hairnets. Being that I found it where I did, it had to be done in the making process. The food is not hot or fresh and most tastes like it's been sitting out too long. After the issues with the hair, we stopped going for awhile but after a few months decided to try it again yesterday to give them one last chance. It was my daughter, her grandmother and myself who went in shortly after 4. We all got buffets and drinks. The food was again not fresh and had been sitting for some time. What upset me the most, when I FINALLY got the ticket was that we were charged dinner buffet prices well before dinner time and there was nothing even put out for "dinner'. When we arrived they still had lunch stuff out and didn't add anything new/hot/fresh the whole time we were there. It costs me $32+ for one adult, one senior and one child under 8 to eat at 4 pm. When i bring this up to the lady she says they now start charging dinner prices at "about" 3:45. How in the world is that dinner time? Especially when there was no fresh food ever put out! Plus I don't believe there was the senior discount even applied for my daughter's grandmother. You have lost our business permanently after this. This place has completely gone downhill the last...
Read moreChina Star used to be my favorite restaurant, with the best Chinese food in town, but I will never eat there again!!! I had the most disgusting dining experience of my life when went there to lunch Wed. Oct 3rd & the bus boy, Goe, was in a wait station just a table away from ours, by the pop macine & put his finger over one nostril & blew the other side of his nose "Trucker Style" as I call it, toward the floor!!! He then went directly back to cleaning tables without washing his hands! We left our plates un-eaten & asked for a refund. The manager, Chen, said "Not my problem" when originally thought it was a customer that I was referring to, then pulled up their surveillance video when I pointed out the employee. It shows him with his hand on his nose, but from that angle & without zooming in, my allegation could not be proven nor disproven. I not only SAW, but also HEARD him blow his nose on the floor! The manager, Chen refused to refund our uneaten lunches & said "I don't care" when told her that I was going to report the incident to the...
Read moreIâm severely allergic to peanuts, and I highly recommend you choose somewhere else if you are too. I asked beforehand hand if they used peanut oil to cook with, the answer was no. So i proceeded to eat lo mein. My mouth started itching immediately so I told them I needed to know what was in it so I knew whether it was direct consumption or cross contamination. The lady at the register instantly was hostile to me, saying she already told me they donât use peanut oil so I said âI know maâam, my problem isnât with the oil. I just need to know if there was anything else in it that may cause me to have an allergic reactionâ and she goes âwell canât you just not eat the lo mein.â She was incredibly rude, defensive, and hostile. Iâm surprised they havenât been sued over the issue. Very easily could have gone into anaphylactic shock while she attempted to argue with me in front of a slew of people. Will never be going back, and I suggest anyone with a peanut allergy to go somewhere else. I was at a loss for words at the disrespect and lack...
