T.J. Maxx — Local services in Hutchinson

I love this store. I find really nice items there at good prices regularly. It's always busy, and there is a lot to browse.

I do think Hutchinson could have supported a bigger TJMaxx location, though.

I was there yesterday and it was so packed you couldn't walk through the store. Every path was blocked by people who stopped to look at things, and if you went into an aisle, you'd be blocked in multiple times before finding room to get out. It is a really crowded space.

The people shopping aren't the problem. There is just no room to have enough space for people to walk past each other.

I greatly enjoy the items I find, and I'm happy to see a thriving store. This is just a small issue that causes a midly frustrating shopping experience.

It could greatly improve the overall experience if there was just enough room for people to pass each other on the main walkways. But then there'd be fewer items to shop unless they had a bigger...

Originally had a 5 star review, but recently returned two items and didn’t have a receipt. They put the items on a gift card which was fine. Went back to use the gift card and it had no funds actually credited to it. The customer service was no help with being able to fix this issue where they didn’t put the money on the card. I feel they should have done something about this matter, but since we didn’t have a receipt of what they did with the gift card, we couldn’t get it resolved. I’m disappointed because it was already a pain to do the return, and in the end they didn’t even put the money on the card and pretty much just...

I like the unique range of products they have here. Compared to other similar stores like Ross or Marshall’s, I think it has better selection and more variety while still having similar low prices. You can find practical things and unique fun things too. I’ve always found the staff at this location to be helpful and have never had to wait very long to check out, even during the busy holiday shopping days!
