Texas T-Bone Steakhouse — Restaurant in Hutchinson

This is my first time writing a review for anything because I usually dont complain and just say whatever and forget about, but every single time I come here with my gf or friends or whoever we always have a good time food is always great nothing wrong with the orders ever, but they always act so off putting towards me and who ever I'm with me and my gf come here often and we love the food but seriously today to start the new year off we wanted a good steak so we came here hostess said it would be a 25 to 35 minute wait which was fine asked us to wait in the car took a phone number said they would call, was getting close to and hour before we decided to go in and see what's going on since we saw many couples and even a family of about five or six people go in before us (maybe they called ahead idk) and get seated saw the hostess come out and look right and left (not sure if she was looking for us or what) and go back inside gave it 10 more minutes and went in just to ask if they tried calling and we didn't get it, but before we could the hostess that took our number just looked at us and had this oh god look and passed us to another girl who seemed bothered that we came in, put us at the same table we always get and said someone will be with us in a while got our orders in food was great waiter came by maybe twice which is understandable its a Friday night still gave a tip which I always do anyways and said would get us some to go drinks never did when we left no one said by goodbye or thanks for coming like they did to everyone else they just stared at us, we love this place great food and good atmosphere but every single time we come here its like they just judge us the moment we come in we are dressed normal we are washed and cleaned and have plenty of money to pay for whatever we want on the menu we are never rude never loud nothing, when the place first opened we came here loved it but noticed the manager went to every table around us asked how they were just looked at us and kept walking and thats how its been ever since we come here its like what do you know us or something because I sure dont know any of you, do you think I'm poor and can't pay and will dine and dash or I'm not going to tip or I'm going to order cheap or because we are young and your being prejudice and think we aren't decent or because I'm not wearing cowboy boots and clothes' that say Carhart or what its seriously like this every time its wierd, do you hate my shoes or something but we just say next time might be better because we love the place and thought I would be better this year but we love china star too and they are always nice and very polite and half the price not as good but at least its not an awkward atmosphere of being stared at till we leave, I gave it a three just cause the food is awesome and thats about it maybe we'll try again but we'll wait a month or two this time probably wont even read this anyway...

The wait wasn't too long for the 3 of us and they have the peanuts! Friendly and great attentive service and the bathroom wasn't too bad and the atmosphere was lively and comfy and had tv's in good spots and there was plenty of room to walk through and now let's talk food! The menu had so many choices and it was perfect amount, not too little where it's disappointing but also not too much where it's overwhelming, for appetizers we went with the Texas sampler, onion strings, fried mushrooms, pickle fries and cheese curds, they came fast and they were piping hot and GOOD, onion string was at first small and strange looking for i have not seen onions served as appetizers this way before but actually it was good and fun to eat, the seasoning and Crispiness was amazing, and the cheese curds were perfectly cooked and also crispy and the pickle fries was delicious, and the best part was the fried mushrooms, the seasoning was not only on the outside but was flavorful and juicy in the inside but retained it's ultra crispiness and perfect texture! And now for the main courses, my boyfriend ordered the Texas size t bone steak and it was really Texas sized! 20 ounces and it was no joke and he ordered it rare and the cook on it was perfect and the smell of the steak was irresistible and my boyfriend enjoyed every single bite of that steak along side his sweet potato, and theb my friend had ordered a burger well done and the cook was also perfect and exactly cooked how my friend wanted it and it was a good sized burger, it was pretty hefty and also smelled delicious and my friend ate that burger up and enjoyed it alot, and then I ordered the texas sized NY strip medium rare and it was also cooked perfect and the smell of perfect amount if char was heavenly and then when I cut into my steak and took a bite it was the perfect steak and it was seasoned to perfection and absolutely no need for sauce and I ordered 2 sides, fried grean beans and sweet potato, the fried green bean was unique to me and first time trying it and I was surprised how well it was cooked and how delicious it was it definitely complimented the steak along with my sweet potato, and the ice tea I ordered was refreshing and my boyfriends beer was also good! Now the service was excellent we had a kind gentleman wait us and he was pleasant and kind and attentive and kept our cups full and always checked on us and didn't make a single mistake and also the young lady who came with the food she was also very sweet, and of course the young lady who also seated us the first time was super nice too! This place i will definitely recommend to all of my friends and when we are in town we will definitely be coming...

As a single-income family, we'd never had the opportunity to eat here but had frequently mentioned wanting to try it. Valentine's Day was our reasonable excuse to try it. I called to ask if they accepted reservations. They do, generally, but were not taking reservations for Valentine's Day. They suggested good times to come in, in order to wait the least amount of time. They also offered to put us on a waiting list if we called ahead. We did so and ended up waiting no time at all! I almost felt guilty walking past all the people salivating, waiting for a table. Logan was our server, and he was fantastic. He knew the menu, had helpful tips for us newbies, and has somehow managed the fine art of checking on you JUST often enough. (There's a fine line between, "I don't remember inviting YOU along on this date with us, yet here you are, along for ALL of it, it seems," vs "I'm pretty sure if we wrap this all in my scarf and dip, we could be to the state line before anyone notices.") In case you are interested, we got a Porterhouse done medium. I swear we could have cut through it with just a fork. We also got a ribeye done medium. My husband asked for A1 steak sauce without trying his steak just to save Logan a trip, but he never ended up using any! Make sure you fork-out the extra $1.49 for grilled onions and mushrooms with your steak. Wow! Our worth-every-cent-and-extra-minute-on-cardio side dishes were the "Build Your Own" Salad, steak fries with white gravy, bacon-wrapped asparagus and steamed vegetables, all of which were dreamy. The rolls were sweet and as soft as a baby's butt. There was a choice of regular or Cinnamon-Honey butter (if you've a heart made of stone and soft newborn baby bun rolls aren't sweet enough for you! I jest!) We needed large, take-home boxes as concerned as we were that our kids would mercilessly mooch upon our arrival, which they did. All in all, we're quite happy with our first experience with the Texas T-bone Steakhouse and recommend Logan as a server, even if I am yet undecided with regard to men and black...
