I am writing on behalf of my father and my self. The reason of my writing is because unfortunately my father and I had the worst experience around 7 pm on Sunday Nov 13, 2022. We went through drive through the person sounded like he was already having a bad day and was giving attitude. We pull up and out of the three orders he messed one up it was just a small coffee with extra cream and sugar. I asked politely if he could change bc he added peppermint at first he argued and then finally took the drink and changed it. After tasting it we noticed the coffee tasted burnt and had no sugar and little cream even though I stated extra extra cream and sugar. We went in to the store to ask a refund he didn’t want to and insisted I’m changing the order instead at this point we weren’t pleased with the service and all we wanted was a refund on the small coffee. As we were waiting my dad put his had in the counter which was so dirty and sticky he asked the young man if he could clean it , keep in mind we’ve been waiting for 15 minutes waiting for a refund he didn’t want to do. He then said “ we clean it when we want to whenever we want to” my father said “excuse me?” The boy continued to argue my dad asked for manager which wasn’t there. As we’re walking out the door the boy boy continued arguing and was initiating violence saying “you can try to fight me but I’m a minor”. We never had the intention on violence. My dad has served the air force for 25 years, walked in with a Veterans hat, a trachea , and a cane because he just had a knee replacement. My dad loves Dunkin’ Donuts and has been going for years. The boy had all his friends in the restaurant as he’s so called “working”. This is so sad it makes my stomach hurt watching my dad go through this experience. I am hoping I hear back from you all, my father deserves an apology. The address to The Dunkin’ Donuts we went to is : 3012 St Joe Rd, New Albany, IN 47150...
Read moreI don’t live in this area but close enough to make a trip every once in a while, which i do because dunkin is my favorite place to get coffee. every single time i’ve come i have had just an awful experience. the workers are never nice, they always make me feel rushed to order and just seem so annoyed that i am even there. i went today and tried to order a donut, they didn’t have that one, so i order a different one, they don’t have the one either. i finally get to one they do have and ask for it. My boyfriend then tries to order one they don’t have and the person taking the order clearly huffs and yells rudely, “we don’t have that one either!!” So i say rudely back “ well can you just tell me the ones you do have then?” and he lists off 3 donuts out of the 8 or so they offer. As if I am supposed to know they’re out. I finally get my order done and get to the window & a nice kid takes my payment. I can see the person who took my order behind him rudely arguing with a customer ordering over the headset. He was a younger small boy with curly blonde hair who looked like he was only 14. Whoever he is he definitely doesn’t need to be working in a customer facing job. I understand having bad days, i’ve worked in customer service for a long time and i’ve experienced nightmare customers. That was not me today. I was nice & simply trying to order what i wanted. This boy was angry and rude the entire time i was there, even to other customers. Like i said at first, i’ve never really had a good experience here, the employees always seem annoyed with me or just angry in general but today was the worst it’s ever been.
Oh, my coffee was also wrong but i didn’t even care to go back...
Read moreI have been here 3 times in the past month with my fiancé, the first time was fine, longer wait but nothing really out of the ordinary. Except the fact that i wasn't looked at once or acknowledged by any of the people behind the counter, which was fine, they were busy and I ordered online so i didnt expect much. The last two times i have come here have been nothing short of ridiculous and just disappointing, the staff ignores customers in the lobby, they do not use the mobile order pickup stations (they just keep it on their side of the counter, call no names and let the food sit and get cold while keeping it on their side of the counter.), they never call who orders are for(something the downtown Lou and Jeffersonville,IN locations do often), they will watch you say something and just walk away.
I would call the manager, but it seems from today he is the same as everyone else in the staff, rude, arrogant and lacking customer service skills needed to work in the food service industry. This whole store needs to be retrained on manners, customer service, efficiency and ethics. Waiting 10-15 minutes for food(after my drinks are already prepared) is insane, especially when there are 6 people behind the counter with only 1-2 cars in the drive thru. Somehow this location makes a slow Saturday morning look like a lunch rush at every other place, just a lot of people in the back scrambling around, half-assing orders, being rude to customers, and ignoring their jobs. I would not recommend anyone to come here, take your business to somewhere that will actually give half a shit about your food and drinks...
