No lies, my experience here was so bad I'm writing about this 3 weeks after even going. The experience was that bad. Most of it revolved around our server, Emerson, so I dont fault the restaurant totally but there were other employees involved in the debacle. first things first, the food is just meh. i love volcano rolls and I would never get this one again. Something about tomo feels like...i dunno...ghetto fabulous sushi. not that we were looking for authentic but it's just not for me. We sat at a hibachi table with two toddlers. Thankfully we were busy with them because it helped distract from the fact that we we didnt get offered drinks for 30 minutes and food for the first hour. I'm guessing they were low staffed so we had to wait for the hibachi chef to finish the other tables to come to us. Half of us got one menu and the other half another but we didnt realize it because of the way we were seated around the table. we got no refills on drinks, our orders were all messed up (i ordered chicken fried rice for hibachi and didnt get any. the chef even went to the back to clear things up and came back with no chicken for me. we also we got some of the wrong food) and when I went to personally talk to our server about what i felt could go better he said "I'm sorry, man. I've been coming here for years and I wouldn't expect much from the service here. It's always bad." again, my server who gave me bad service said this to me. Then when collecting our checks they missed one. we didnt realize it til half the group was getting to leave but our sever was nowhere to be seen after. tried telling the guy wiping the tables but there was a clear language barrier. I had to go directly to the register to pay for the meal long after my friends had all gone. I spoke with management about this and they tried to help but even they were kinda confused? i was so flustered i just wanted to leave to catch up with my party but they said this was all because the server was new. I gave the food 3/5 because it wasnt bad but it wasnt good? service got 1/5 because it seemed the only person who really understood english or what was said was my server and he was bad. 4/5 atmosphere because there's something here that makes me feel like the locals probably love it. it's not homey but it's fine. I wont...

I have been to this restaurant a few times, and I've never had a good experience with the food. The portions are about half what you would expect for the price. Now before I go on let me back up a bit. I am a trained chef and I have policy against leaving bad reviews for restaurants. In fact normally I give a restaurant no less than three times to get it right. If they don't get it right I quit going back I don't leave a bad review. For me to leave this review it has to be something pretty bad. My first bad experience was when our bill didn't look right. We were charged dinner price for an item on the lunch menu. We brought this to the attention of management and were told it was our responsibility to make sure our menu was correct. The next time we made sure to request the right menu and were met with quite the scowling attitude from Jesus. This brings us to this time. My order was the vegetable yaki soba and beef. I paid nearly 13 dollars for less than a cup of noodles and what looked like a whole softball sized onion. The onion was the only vegetable I got. When we addressed this to the server he went to Jesus who told him it was the proper lunch portion. Now I don't mind paying $13 for something filling but seriously I needed a second meal after that. We will say our servers are always good bit Jesus has never left a good taste...

Josh is an EXCELLENT server. Other than him, this place is a dump. Unfortunately, I didn't follow my gut the first few times I came to this establishment. I will not be back again.

First, I came on a Sunday. When I received my bill I noticed that the price listed is higher than what is stated on the menu. I brought this to the server's attention. Then, she brought it to Jesus' attention. Jesus stated that it's my responsibility as a customer to ensure that I have the right menu with the right price.

Second, food was terrible. I asked Jesus if I had the right menu. As he stated before- it's my responsibility to ensure that I do. Instead, he gave me an attitude.

Third, my boyfriend ordered a noodle dish. There were maybe 4 noodles in there. However, there were many onions. He brought this to our server's attention who brought this to Jesus' attention. Jesus decided it was the right amount WITHOUT talking with us or looking at the dish.

I hate to bring up if the restaurant is expensive or not. Some restaurants are more expensive because they have better quality or the portions are bigger. This place has a negative correlation between food quality, food portion, and price.

I gave this organization three times to be a decent restaurant in either food or price or customer service. They...

I took my son here to try it for our 1st time. We had to sit and wait about 30 minutes to get a seat. The waiter seemed rushed. Then, after I paid, it was like he disappeared. I wanted to get drinks to go and a container for our food. I had to ask someone else for them. The cook at the grill was ok he was doing some different tricks with the food. My son and I liked it, but we probably wouldn't be going back there. My son got sick that night after, so I don't know if his chicken was not cooked all the way or if it was something else. He didn't eat what I did.

This restaurant has a hibachi grill, sushi, and a bar. It looks like a little old restaurant, but they do an excellent job keeping the interior clean. The sushi was beautifully presented and tasted great. Our friends had the hibachi grill for lunch. -The prices were reasonable. -You have to choose a salad or soup. -The show was very simple, but the chef had a good sense of humor. He asked for my wife's name and wrote it on the fried rice in Korean. The sauce at Hibachi Grill was something special.

Wow! I was out of town looking for a good sushi place…TOMO did not disappoint! It was delicious! The sushi was spot on fresh, restaurant was clean, service was great! I arrived near closing time and they were still super nice and did not rush me along. The hot tea helped top everything off. Parking is adequate and restrooms were clean. I will visit again when in the area.
