I usually strongly dislike leaving negative feedback. In this case, I just hope any negative feedback goes toward the owners efforts to improve. I’ve eaten Indian cuisine in many different countries. I attempt to cook it even! It’s one of my favorites. I was really not Terri lt impressed. Not sure what everyone else is experiencing. We ordered chicken saag, lamb korma, and a curry. I found the lamb to be a firm texture which would insinuate overcooking but also the fat and connective tissues still being undercooked or a bit slimey. The meat generally didn’t taste so fresh, the flavor wasn’t the best I’ve had at all. I left feeling a bit put off. I tend not to complain so, this is a rare occurrence. I think this place serves a local community that has little options in this category and thus with little to compare it to. Needless to say I think it deserves support and hopefully it’s improved. I never order fried foods or heavy, so perhaps those decadent easy to like dishes have more bang. I found that some Indian classics here lacked unfortunately and used vegetable oil rather than ghee. 100% it was in my Masala dish.

We went dine in with our kids. It was amazing experience. The food we ordered was quick and tasty. And their kheer is the best in the town. Great service šŸ‘

āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø I had such a wonderful experience thanks to Navneet’s outstanding service. I came in during lunchtime absolutely starving but had to jump on a work meeting right away. Navneet noticed that I couldn’t eat my food right away and, without me even asking, she came back later to warm it up for me. That simple act of care made me feel truly looked after—something I honestly haven’t felt while dining out in a very long time. On top of that, the food itself was incredible. The yellow dal and garlic naan were absolutely delicious, and because I mentioned my dairy allergy, Navneet made sure the kitchen prepared everything without dairy. It wasn’t just the food—it was the thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and genuine care that made this experience stand out. Navneet turned what could have been an ordinary (and hectic) lunch into something warm, comforting, and memorable. Thank you for such amazing customer service—I’ll definitely be back!

A Big Shout Out to My Favorite Indian Restaurant – 5 Stars All the Way!

I absolutely love this place — it deserves a big shout out! This is hands-down my favorite Indian restaurant. My daughter and I gladly travel over 1.5 hours each way just to eat here — and it’s always worth the trip.

The food is consistently outstanding. They use local chicken, and their spices are so well-balanced that I’ve never experienced bloating or discomfort — which is rare for someone like me with a sensitive stomach.

Their garlic naan is next-level — it honestly sends me into a meditative state. I love pairing it with their chili chicken, which is full of flavor. Other favorites include the paneer masala and biryani — so aromatic and rich. Even their starters, like the vegetable samosas, chutneys, and mango lassi, are absolutely delicious and hit every note for my taste buds.

Simran, who often waits on our table, has memorized our order — it’s funny and heartwarming how she just recites what we usually get. It shows such genuine care and attention. The entire staff brings the same level of warmth and detail to the experience, reflecting the essence of Indian hospitality — ā€œAtithi Devo Bhavaā€ (the guest is God).

If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality Indian food served with love, this is the place. I wholeheartedly...

As a true foodie who loves exploring different cuisines, I can confidently say that 5 Star Indian Restaurant in Indianapolis is an absolute hidden gem! Today me and my brother, we tried their Butter Chicken, Malai Kofta, and Garlic Naan and let me tell you, my soul felt satisfied. The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. This is hands-down the best Indian food I’ve had outside of India and Canada.

The Butter Chicken was creamy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The Malai Kofta melted in the mouth with the perfect blend of spices. And that Garlic Naan - soft, fresh, and just heavenly!

The ambiance of the place is just as amazing as the food. The vibe is clean, modern, and beautifully designed—you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and the service was top-notch.

Honestly, I’m so glad I discovered this place. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly, and I’m already planning to try their catering services for upcoming events.

Hats off to the owner and the chef for nailing both the taste and the experience. You can tell they truly care about quality and customer satisfaction. If you love Indian food or just good food in general, this place is...

Excellent experience. Food was so good we forgot to take pics beforehand. LOL.

Definitely will be returning.

Now for the details. Food: this is now one of my favorite restaurants for indian food. Lots of choices. Clear descriptions. When the heat level is variable they let you know, when it isn't this is also clearly stated. Flavors were fantastic. I am a HUGE korma fan and they exceeded expectations. In fact it was so good we ordered and extra serving to take with us. Butter Chicken could have been a little more flavorful, BUT, we also asked for super mild, so I can't complain. Just note when asking for alterations to recommended spice level it may impact flavor a tad. Still it was very good.

Lets talk breads. The parantha won out over the naan. Both were great but if you're choosing go for the parantha, the buttery flavor made my mouth super happy.

Atmosphere, this is actually one of the more comfortable restaurants I've been in. Likely because it's a former Bob Evans or similar. Space is plentiful and we'll used. Tables and chairs are comfortable.

Price: Very fair. Decent chance you'll take home leftovers and you won't break the bank. We we very happy with the portion sizes and the bill.

We'll be coming back and...
