A Big Shout Out to My Favorite Indian Restaurant – 5 Stars All the Way!
I absolutely love this place — it deserves a big shout out! This is hands-down my favorite Indian restaurant. My daughter and I gladly travel over 1.5 hours each way just to eat here — and it’s always worth the trip.
The food is consistently outstanding. They use local chicken, and their spices are so well-balanced that I’ve never experienced bloating or discomfort — which is rare for someone like me with a sensitive stomach.
Their garlic naan is next-level — it honestly sends me into a meditative state. I love pairing it with their chili chicken, which is full of flavor. Other favorites include the paneer masala and biryani — so aromatic and rich. Even their starters, like the vegetable samosas, chutneys, and mango lassi, are absolutely delicious and hit every note for my taste buds.
Simran, who often waits on our table, has memorized our order — it’s funny and heartwarming how she just recites what we usually get. It shows such genuine care and attention. The entire staff brings the same level of warmth and detail to the experience, reflecting the essence of Indian hospitality — “Atithi Devo Bhava” (the guest is God).

Read moreAs a true foodie who loves exploring different cuisines, I can confidently say that 5 Star Indian Restaurant in Indianapolis is an absolute hidden gem! Today me and my brother, we tried their Butter Chicken, Malai Kofta, and Garlic Naan and let me tell you, my soul felt satisfied. The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. This is hands-down the best Indian food I’ve had outside of India and Canada.
The Butter Chicken was creamy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The Malai Kofta melted in the mouth with the perfect blend of spices. And that Garlic Naan - soft, fresh, and just heavenly!
The ambiance of the place is just as amazing as the food. The vibe is clean, modern, and beautifully designed—you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and the service was top-notch.
Honestly, I’m so glad I discovered this place. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly, and I’m already planning to try their catering services for upcoming events.

Definitely will be returning.
Now for the details. Food: this is now one of my favorite restaurants for indian food. Lots of choices. Clear descriptions. When the heat level is variable they let you know, when it isn't this is also clearly stated. Flavors were fantastic. I am a HUGE korma fan and they exceeded expectations. In fact it was so good we ordered and extra serving to take with us. Butter Chicken could have been a little more flavorful, BUT, we also asked for super mild, so I can't complain. Just note when asking for alterations to recommended spice level it may impact flavor a tad. Still it was very good.
Lets talk breads. The parantha won out over the naan. Both were great but if you're choosing go for the parantha, the buttery flavor made my mouth super happy.
Atmosphere, this is actually one of the more comfortable restaurants I've been in. Likely because it's a former Bob Evans or similar. Space is plentiful and we'll used. Tables and chairs are comfortable.
Price: Very fair. Decent chance you'll take home leftovers and you won't break the bank. We we very happy with the portion sizes and the bill.
We'll be coming back and...
