Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Hi Freddy’s crew. My name is Megan and I work for the hotel directly behind you. Marcia and I work the desk here. You guys are awesome and have given us and our guests great service.

On a personal trip with my youngest son we went into the drive thru looking for a hotdog and dirt n worms as he’s not coping with his older brothers back in school. We waited on his hotdog and one of your employees said “You look like you can use this.” And handed me a free Pepsi. I said thank you and took it without hesitation as it was a hot day. She also said the car behind me had paid for my drink. Something is magical about your location. Brings the nice out of people.

I can’t thank you guys enough when us girls at the desk are hungry and we can call and give you our order and walk over and get it.

We have people that complain that you’re not open later but they understand about lack of help but the wait is worth it. Fresh, always hot, custard always creamy and delicious. The wait on food isn’t that long.

I’m glad you have doordash as well as we know you get busy so we try to order from them as much as possible so we don’t bug you guys. The fries are outstanding and the allergen information on your website is awesome. I do wish you offer gluten-free buns but other than that I can’t complain at all.

I was excited to see that Freddie's had come to Greenwood. I have heard great things about the food and dessert. However, my experience was much less than optimal.

Upon walking in I noticed Freddie's accepts contactless payment options. However, the girl at the register would not have it. She kept saying "this register is old and will not work with that". Okay, fine I'll give this person the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she wasn't familiar with the technology.

Next, the sticky tables. After laying my arm on the table for a few minutes it felt like I was ripping off a band-aid when I tried to lift my arm. How gross. Again, I'll give the cleaning crew the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they were swamped for dinner and hadn't gotten to my table yet.

Finally, small portions, and sub par dessert. The food was pricy so I was expecting portions that would fill me up. Instead, I left hungry and wanting more. The dessert (concrete-regular) was half melted when it was given to me, I don't know why I was given a spoon, a straw would have been more effective. The overpriced food, dessert, and gross tables are not worth it in my opinion. I'm sad to say I will not be returning.

Update: Still haven't been...

Well .... the first time we ate there burgers were put together well and toppings were correct. The last 2 months they must of changed cooks or something cause we have to rebuild out burgers. They're just slopped about and look like a 5 year old built it. Fries are now POUNDED with seasoning. Burgers are great but that's AFTER you get it, rebuild it and navigate the ketchup, mustard, etc on your bun as it's ALWAYS poured in just one spot 🙄🙄🙄🙄 Guess for the higher price they switched to 'we don't care' mode and sloppy service. Also had to go in TWICE cause they didn't listen to corrections at all. Please get it together. I'd love you again if ya do 😪😪😪😪 2 instead of 1 star cause of great burgers. Staff in back is your issue

Update - 5 STARS NOW. Well as promised in our email after my review things seem much better. Sandwich was plain as ordered and very good. I have added 4 more pictures. Customer service by Michaha was great too. There was no issue or bother with comp'd sandwich you provided. The time to get food was a little less than 4 minutes but that's a good thing cause everything was hot and fresh!!!! Thank you and they stepped...
