Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Indianapolis

If I could give this location specifically 10/5, I would. I went in with a large order, 6 sandwiches in total. I placed my order, and they were super patient with listening to everything and made sure to clean the area and change their gloves for the three gluten-free (allergy) sandwiches I ordered. Then it came time to pay, and all I had access to was Google Pay, but my tap to pay wasn't working due to a magnet on my phone and on their device. So I asked if it'd be ok if I could run and grab cash to pay with that instead. They said that'd be totally fine, and they'd put my food aside till I got back. Unfortunately, my bank was closed, and I had no other way to pull cash. So I had to improvise. 30 minutes later, I came back to the Jersey Mike's with a pre-paid Visa card, and they still had my food and began ringing up my purchase right away. Made sure that everything wad correct but the card wouldn't work and they couldn't figure out why and so the manager, seeing that I was visibly distressed and defeated, told me that I could just take my food and my card. He wasn't upset at all. He said it was clear I was trying to pay for my food, I had gone and paid for a gift card, so he let me take the card and food. This is my first time rating Jersey Mike's on Doordash, and while I love the Jersey Mike's chain, I can't bring myself to be honest and give them 5 stars when ordering through Doordash. I'm a bacon lover, and I always order extra bacon on my Club sub. If you order via Doordash, you will not get any extra anything you ask for. This has happened multiple times everytime I order from Jersey Mike's thru Doordash. I can only think of maybe one or two times that I had actually gotten extra bacon on my sub after adding the extra charge to my order. They're ripping you off if you order through Doordash and think you're not going to check and notice for your request of extra ingredients. If you go in person and watch them put together your sub you'll get what you request, but we all know that's because they're being watched by the customer. Was just there. There was a ginger kid and then a kid with brown half kinda shoulder length. The brown haired kid said they were only doing hot sandwiches. Great, 1 of my sandwiches was hot so that worked out but my other 1 was a cold sandwich. It was 8:40, they don’t close for another 20 minutes. I’m pretty confused why they don’t allow cold sandwiches to be made 20 minutes before close. I’m pretty sure the way stores work is you close at 9 then you actually wash and clean the store. You don’t close early so people getting home from work late can’t eat. I was standing there waiting for the 1 hot sandwich.
