We ordered their entree 'bigger' plate with Kung Pao chicken, mushroom chicken, and a steak dish, with vegetables as the side. Now, I know King Pao is saucy, you know it. For some reason, they decided their mains container was too small to fit all three mains and the side- so they put the Kung Pao into a....... rice..... folded box container. Rather than use a plastic tub to house the chicken and sauce, they used what I can only assume is the box a side dish of rice comes in--- definitely not watertight.
The sauce leaked inside the entire plastic grocery style bag. The Rangoon that were ordered were soaked and soggy.
Why on earth the workers put the kung pao in the cardboard box, rather than the vegetables, is beyond me. Why they opted for a folded box and not a small leak proof plastic deli style tub, is also beyond me. I'm just glad I never put the bag on my car seat, only on the floor, when I received the order at the window.
Without getting into the irony of having Japanese/Chinese cuisine prepared by a 100 percent Hispanic staff.... I wouldn't mind if I had been able to actually communicate with them. The staff do not seem to speak much English at all despite defending their decision as 'what [they] always do' .... I'm calling B.S. on that. You don't put a main, with sauce, in a rice side box. Neither does any other Panda Express. I honestly do not understand why English language fluency is no longer a mandatory skill in customer service. It leads to an incredibly frustrating experience. ( I mean, do they fully understand basic food service safety requirements? What if they can't read the policy postings? Is everything being cleaned properly in the restaurant etc?) At the end of the call, I'm pretty sure he offered me a remade order--- but this does not mean he actually understood what even happened, or will do anything to prevent it in the future. So other customers are bound to encounter similar frustrating, and messy, experiences ... which is...
Read moreI went to pick up an order here on 1/9/2023 While my order was being prepared, an employee had a styrofoam container of already prepped food in her hand. I do not know how old this food was, if it had been eaten from, or any number of other factors. The employee took this container and dumped it out on top of freshly made orange chicken, dumping orange chicken, fried rice, and who knows what else (which, again, I do not know where it came from) onto the freshly cooked chicken.
When I pointed out to the employee that there was something obviously disgusting about dumping old food of questionable origin onto freshly cooked food, along with the fact that other food items were now mixed in with the dish he was prepping, he told me he could pick around the fried rice and other items in the serving dish. This absolutely astonished me that he wouldn't see a problem with previously prepped (and possibly served and returned, maybe eaten from) food being dumped onto fresh food in the serving platter.
As I was waiting for the manager to come talk to me about cancelling my order, I also saw an employee take a stack of to-go container lids from a storage area in the drive through, and when she opened the stack, the lids spilled out onto the tile floor. The employee proceeded to take these lids which had been where dozens of people walk every day, stack them back up (dragging a good number of them face-down along the floor) and put them in the prep area, so now the next fifty or so people coming through the drive through will have food containers that had been dragged across dirty tile.
I would stay far away from here, and I wouldn't be surprised if you see the health inspector there if you do...
Read moreHave a 20 minute video of the manager Tong refusing to serve me food because i want fresh food. She told all her employees to ignore me and she never served me even after 20 minutes of waiting. Instead she called the police and wanted them to come for no reason, oh because i wanted fresh food. She did not serve me and all the employees ignored me and her and two other employees said they will not serve me and will call the police on me. I called corporate and reported Tong, they did nothing. Soon this video will be surfaced around to show the world how Panda Express lets their Managers disrespect paying customers for no reason at all. Is there any where i can send the video to make it be seen and go viral? This is the WORST panda express I’ve EVER been to! It’s not fair to not be served because i want fresh food. She served 3 other Chinese people before me and gave them no problems but insisted on giving me problems for twenty minutes after i just had surgery and was very hungry. She then came from behind the counter to take items of mine from me. Very unprofessional. I felt she was going to hit me that’s how close she got to me! This is unacceptable treatment! And again corporate did nothing! I felt discriminated against, left with no food, even with corporate! I left a report and requested a call back, never got one. They’re the enablers to their managers behavior. Wont come back to this location, not to be discriminated against when i just want fresh food and the manager has an issue with that....
