My last two interactions with them have really put me off to this location. First experience; I went in to buy one of their small boxes which is essentially just 6 subs. They were not at all busy at the time but they made sure to let me know that they were doing me a favor because they normally require 24 hour notice on a catering order. Again let me point out that I only ordered essentially 6 subs and they had 5 or 6 people working at the time. Second experience; The first one was just an annoyance this one actually made me very angry. I was sick at home with no car, so I decided to order delivery. When the employee answered the phone, wish I had got his name, he kept interrupting me and would not let me speak. When I finally got his attention, I let him know that I wanted to place an order for delivery. He very rudely let me know that this location did not deliver to my house despite being less than a mile away because we are in the Broad Ripple territory. I let him know that the Broad Ripple store is closed for remodeling, and he very rudely said yeah I know. Then I pointed out that I was less than a mile away, and he said, "yeah you are less than a mile away", implying that I could just come to them. Remember I was sick and had no car at the time. I asked to speak to the manager. We talked but I didn't really get the impression that he was going to do anything. I manage a store myself, and in my opinion this kind of attitude comes...
Read moreI won't be ordering from this Jimmy John's any longer. I placed an order online and was called back immediately to inform me that they do not deliver cash orders after 4PM for their drivers' safety. I spoke with a manager and he was very smug and when I told him that I have been ordering from them for three years at this address (four blocks away) and never once robbed their driver, he basically said he didn't need my business.
I was a driver for six years, so I know better than anyone that you will get robbed/mugged regardless of how much money is in you're pocket. It's a dangerous job. The store can prevent loss by sending drivers with fewer orders and having drivers make cash drops frequently. Not by driving away business from longtime customers.
Service is slow anyway and the managers I have spoken too are rude and snug. Orders are frequently wrong or missing items....
Read moreWere told had to use this store. Had delivery and instead of fresh got stale dry old refrigerator kept sandwich and order not correct. Called was told they would correct and send fresh. Had to keep recalling was never corrected only money paid lost. Not worth eating. Manager rude said nothing he can do after waiting hours for correction. Think they gave us wrong and stale food that other customer changed mind on or in someone's frig from area apts. Seen rating and thought must be wrong but it is not.
