I was hungry and decided to head to Five Guys in Inglewood off Crenshaw Blvd on Imperial Blvd. I hadn't been to Five Guys in over 5 years. Boy, a lot has changed in their menu prices. I remember the first Five Guys I went to in Culver City at the Westfield Mall. The double burger was only $8.50, now it's $17.00. What a price change since I been back to enjoy some homemade fresh burger. I usually enjoy some free peanuts while they are cooking my burger, I was looking around for the help yourself peanut section and couldn't find it, but saw the big bags in the middle of the eating area. I then preceded to the counter to ask where is the help yourself to peanuts, and the cook just handed me a brown bag with maybe one scoop of peanuts in the bag taped up. I asked why they didn't have a help yourself to free peanuts like all the other Five Guys restaurant. The cook just told me that's how they do it at that location. Well, I guess I won't be going back to that location, barely anyone in the restaurant, and my meal was around $35. What a price jump from the last time I was at a Five Guys restaurant. I love the cook to order burgers, homemade cut fries with seasonings, and free help yourself peanuts. But at that price for one person, I would rather buy my own peanuts, cut my own fries and make my own burgers at home for under $20. Sorry, Five Guys, but this will be my last trip to your restaurant. Appreciate the free peanuts, but when you're charging that price for burgers, please don't limit a scoop of peanuts as compensation for...
Read more@ first I was like, what's the big deal about Five Guys???? When I first had their cheeseburger, I didn't think much of it. It was just a regular burger to me. @ the time, In n Out t was still favored by my tastes. However, alot of ppl I know prior to the first visit to Five Guys mentioned their burgers better than In n Out.
Wasn't till several months later, I return to Five Guys and try out there burgers again. So I guess it wasn't till the third or fourth visit that their style and taste, started to really kick in. I was appreciating their flavor more and more as I kept going back every other week. I can admit that I was used to the In n Out flavor and had to get used to tasting something different.
You can customize your burger anyway and it doesn't cost a thing. Your burger is a flat price. The fries are the best that's out there above all other restaurants, even Mc Donald's. You will get hooked on their fries if you like 'em.
Shakes are pretty good. Can be better, comparing to Shake Shack, Fatburger & Steak & Shake.
Also, check out their secret menu. I just tried their version of a Patty melt custom taylored grilled cheese with 2 patties, add cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms, jalepeños, tomato & mayo... now my new fav! 😍😋
Yum!! Give Five Guys a shot! Don't like it the first time, go back and try again. Refresh your taste buds from the usual In n Out style we're all used to. Try their fries n shakes... & If u just can't wait to eat, you can nibble on their tasty roasted peanuts that they offer while...
Read moreFive guys has really wonderful burgers. The only problem is their burgers are very expensive. Because of where the establishment is located, the parking is on either side of the building. It's easy to get to but there is a short walk in order to get to the entrance. It shouldn't be a problem even if you are in a wheel chair. We had no problem finding a parking space because there is usually lots of parking available. And because it's located right on Crenshaw & Imperial it's easy to see from the street. The store is very clean inside. It is a new location. The young man who helped us was very pleasant and moved very quickly. As we waited for our order, we did take advantage of the peanuts that are complimentary to customers as they wait. We received our order fairly fast and took it home to eat. I forgot to mention there is no drive-through. The food was delicious. The burgers are thick and juicy and well seasoned. The fries are fresh and tender but crispy on the outside, delicious. I recommend them to anyone because of the taste of their food and they don't have fillers and all those extra unhealthy additives had many fast food restaurants put in their food. You will definitely enjoy Five Guys if you like a nice...
