Crenshaw Shopping Center — Local services in Inglewood

For being Superior Grocers you expect affordable grocery shopping as with all other locations I've previously purchased at from the same grocer. This one has disappointed me way more that other locations, such as South L.A., Cudahy and El Monte. Produce isn't on point and my bill always comes out to be exaggerated. I recently changed to Food4Less on Ocean Gate and Rosecrans. For a small haul of no more than 4 items I spend nearly $50-$60 at this Superior. When I do the same at Food4Less for the same items I spend about $30!!! How is that possible? Price gouging perhaps? The only thing I will continue to purchase from here is the H20 Alkaline water, when Food4Less is out of it. Other than that I rather drive 8 mins to Food4Less. Not even the convenience of Superior being literally 1-2 mins from my home will convince me to shop for other items here. Not to mention I've bought prepackaged marinated taco meat from here that got my family sick once. And on another occasion, I got prepackaged chicken breast and as I was bagging it post purchasing to put in my shopping cart. The chicken smelled like it was spoiled. It had a disgusting foul smell to it. I am happy I caught that and decided to exchange it to not get sick again from their meat Dept. They may just put these packages left behind back into the refrigerated section to have it sold. Rather than do the right thing and discard it. Absolutely...

Yummy chicken!! It can be a 15-20 minute wait if it's dinnertime and folks cal in their orders as well. Their food is delicious!. (Try the Chinese fried rice. There's usually a lot of people buying their dinner, so it sometimes can be a wait. Try your best to be prepared for (at least) a 15 minute wait (because) they cook fresh chicken as it runs out. Lots of chicken selling. The people who work there and run it are sweethearts. They're good people. They also sell fried fish, and at this location you can buy burritos and hamburgers, and I think some Italian food. I plan to try their shrimp fried rice as well! 5...

This shopping has one major grocery store as well as a good handful of others. It's a great center to go in and out and get what you need. My reason for the lack of 5 stars is the sole purpose the people who just hangout make me uncomfortable. When I'm shopping I don't feel comfortable being followed or cat called . If I can't park right in front of where I meed to go then I just don't go. I feel security needs to patrol the lot because the amount of people that just "hangout " can male anyone...
