Just got home from Iraq and was excited to get some tacos from good old Jack in the Box! Unfortunately, the experience itself will absolutely keep from from EVER frequenting another, I will even go out of my way to explain this to everyone to cross my path and I assure you it will resonate. I ordered 6 tacos and an order of bacon cheddar potato wedges. She asked if I wanted them spicy or regular, I replied “regular” (not even familiar with the spicy). After receiving my order and receipt I asked for 3 ranches. She gave me one and said additional will be .27 cents. I asked how many I had to order for more free ones and she replied “you only ordered 6 tacos” (not answering my question). I said, thank you, that’s fine (frustrated but not showing it nor impolite…I was raised correctly). After sitting down and noticing my potato wedges were obviously served spicy. I kindly went to the counter and explained I ordered regular and would happily just take a refund. She only insisted once that I ordered “spicy” before saying to wait for the cashier. She reluctantly handed me my change before rolling her eyes and angrily grabbing the box and crushing it slightly. These were older-grown women, no reason to be rude. We all have our days, I never presume to know someone’s position in life. I don’t blame them specifically for the ranch up charge, even though most folks seem to enjoy the power trip of explaining that it’s not free, but to be so petty as an adult…I won’t tolerate that. In a constantly changing world that we must all accept, we still need to set boundaries. This is me setting one. And yes, I will take the time to preach from this little moi train too for a minute about such a ridiculous subject. I will NEVER return to ANY Jack in the Box, EVER. You can show me every corporate number under the sun trying to justify why you charge for a condiment and I will still not rescind my decision. I initially and knowingly paid $10.39 for trash food (even though it’s a guilty pleasure and have frequented for over 25 years), chose your establishment, didn’t ask for any respect or particularly good service, and yet you have the audacity to charge for a condiment. Thanks Jack in the Box,...
Read moreIf I could give ZERO STARS I definitely would and that's being NICE! Every manager here is a joke, especially the tall heavy set Hispanic gentleman! Zero customer service and even when they are wrong or mess up...the attitude is the same, WHATEVER! I order online and my order was correct on my end but when I got home, the order was Wrong!!! I had just got off work but I did call back to advise them of the wrong items. The lady acknowledged the error and said just come by today or tomorrow and we will make it right! Granted it was the next morning but I did order more food and came to retrieve my right menu items from the previous morning lol well I thought. The Hispanic guy immediately ask me for the wrong food from yesterday morning. Excuse me, you can't sell the food, were you going to eat it? I'm not holding food 24+ hours just to bring back to prove your mistakes! Now that is beyond Ludacris nor did she even mention to bring back the wrong items! We both laughed at the error the previous morning and said well I'm tired and sleepy so I probably won't make it back today. I just don't appreciate you getting my money but I don't receive what I paid for!!! No worries though because from the reviews here, it's a common thing at this location. Poor service and horrible quality of food! I only order here because it's close to the office but I'll drive further for quality and customer service! Those are two things this restaurant/location lack!!! It's evident the GM here vacations alot because they're definitely not managing!!!! Cypress Waters location it is from now on avoid this one at all cost...
