I've been a loyal customer of Jimmy John's for quite some time, and I've always appreciated their prompt delivery and delicious sandwiches. However, my recent experience with them left me extremely disappointed.
I placed an order the night before, with the expectation that it would be delivered between 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Unfortunately, the order did not arrive until 12:45 PM, which is a significant delay. To make matters worse, the order was incorrect. We were missing a dessert item, and there were extra sandwiches we didn't order. The icing on the cake was that some of the sandwiches weren't labeled, which led to confusion and frustration.
In an attempt to resolve this issue, I called the restaurant to address the missing items and the mix-up. To my surprise, the staff on the other end of the line were far from accommodating. Instead of trying to help, they seemed to slander me for wanting to sort out the missing side orders. The representative I spoke to put me on hold for a staggering 10 minutes, showing a complete lack of understanding about the severity of the situation.
After growing increasingly frustrated, I asked to speak to a manager, only to be told that there was no manager available. I inquired about the owner and was informed that they reside in another state. This lack of accountability and oversight was deeply troubling.
I hope that someone from Jimmy John's reads this review and takes it as an opportunity to improve their services. This particular location is clearly struggling and in desperate need of help. Got to the store said it was a pick up, gave my name and waited a little bit... An employee called my name and I took my bag, left. When I got to my office and opened the bag I was missing a sandwich. I called the store and THOMAS who identified as the store manager was very harsh and said that I was required to tell them in store that I had two orders... I tried to explain but he was very unprofessional and said that he wasn't going to do anything because it was my fault. I asked for his last name and he said that he was "uncomfortable" giving his last name over the phone and that he needed to know for what purpose I wanted it, I said I will call customer service to see if they can help, HE SAID SOMETHING MIMBLING AND HUNG UP THE PHONE. This is the kind of people that take businesses to the ground. This attitude, this kind of behavior. We will never order from this location again, the employees are not up to the standard of JJ. Read moreI had ordered for delivery and as my order approached and the driver took the money FOR my food he asked me if I was going to leave a tip, after I explained I only had exact change, the delivery driver started demanding a tip out of me (usually I know drivers don’t carry that much change which is why I try to have exact cash change if I’m paying in person) I only had a $50 bill besides the exact change I had for my food, so I apologized and he went about his day, couples minutes later I hear a knock on my door and I guess the delivery driver went somewhere and retrieved change for my $50 bill, he told me he now had change for my 50, I was only planning to leave a $5 tip considering I already felt super uncomfortable. He tries giving me $25 in change for my $50 bill instead of $45 and says “We’re starting from scratch as if you didn’t pay me for the food including tip $25” he tried to hustle me for my money and demand more.
