I don’t really go to Starbucks very often as coffee isn’t my thing but I had a gift card that needed to be used. When I do go to Starbucks, I go to the Victory Park location as it is close to work. I’ve only been to this location twice. It’s on my way in to work and can be a little more convenient. The first time I went there my experience was good but not today.
Last week I purchased a trenta strawberry açaí lemonade with no ice at Victory Park with no issues. When I went in to this location today to order the same drink I was asked if I just wanted my drink to the full line or if I wanted extra lemonade or strawberry açaí. This caught me off guard as I have never been asked this before when I’ve ordered a drink without ice. I told the cashier I just wanted it with no ice but she insisted that I needed to order it with extra lemonade so I said okay. I asked if I was being charged and she said yes. Since I was needing to get to work, I said fine. After paying with my gift card I owed $1.10 which I paid in cash.
I didn’t wait long for my order but when I received it it was a pale red (like rose water) not the deep red of the drink I bought at the other location and it didn’t even have any strawberries in it. It looked like plain water with food coloring.
When I got the attention of the cashier who took my order, I said “shouldn’t this have strawberries?” and she took it and shouted at the girl who made it that she forgot the strawberries.
I guess between being charged an extra $1 for requesting an almost $8 drink ($7.85) without ice and then the order being wrong, I told her to just give me a refund. She said she would have to put the entire amount back on the gift card and I said okay but then I thought about it and asked her to give me back what I paid in cash and put the rest back on the gift card she said it couldn’t be done.
As I was leaving the store I heard her say to another employee, “It’s Monday and people get..” I didn’t catch the last thing but heard enough to know she was venting to her co-worker. I turned and said “excuse me?” because I didn’t want her to think she could talk that way within ear shit of a customer and get away with it. I came back towards the counter and asked her “It’s Monday and people get what?” I asked her two times and she blatantly denied having said it. She said she just said “It’s Monday” and that was it. She said it with such a straight face that I can tell lying comes easy to her. I think she may have been the MOD as she was dressed a little different from everyone else. She is a short, dark skinned woman no older than 25.
I then went to the location by my job, placed the order without any problem or additional cost and received the same drink I bought last week.
After reading reviews on here about the rudeness of the manager, I felt this is the best outlet as I don’t feel like dealing with another rude person...
Read moreWent in on February 22nd to get 2 drinks. One of them being a caramel macchiato with soy, they proceeded to give me expired soy milk. It was gooey, white chunks on the bottom and tasted sour. I was on the way to the hospital to see my grandmother when I noticed. Luckily there was a very nice and clean Starbucks inside that confirmed to me that it was expired soy milk, remade my drink for free! and told me to call to get a refund immediately. I proceeded to call and talk to the rudest customer service employees of my entire life. Some man answer the phone and was extreme short and not helpful at all, telling me I must come back in with the drink and my card to get a refund. I paid on the app I explained and that I was in the hospital did not have the ability to come back. He said he was unable to help me then . I asked to speak to the manager, her name being Aubrey, she was the rudest manager I have ever interacted with in my entire life. She would not let me finish a sentence, kept interrupting me and proceeded to tell me it was HER store policy to issue a refund I must come back inside. She said “either contact corporate or come inside otherwise I will not be helping you.” I told her okay I would be reporting this for your abysmal customer service.
I proceeded to come in hours later after my grandmother needed rest, for the pm staff to be just as rude in person if not ruder. I confirmed with Starbucks to process a refund they need to scan the app/barcode/card I paid with. They did NOT scan my app and told me it was refunded that I should have BROUGHT THE DRINK IN for them to confirm. I waited 24 hours my charge changed from processing to confirmed. Contacted corporate and they refunded me immediately. They did not process the refund, they lied and were being rude trying to kick me out of the store because they believed they were in the right and did not want to help me.
I have never had to leave a review before, and I have never had to ask Starbucks for a refund before. This was absolutely trash, avoid the store...
Read moreFirst off, let's start with what's good about this new Starbucks. This location is beautiful! The inside area is spacious, really well designed and gorgeous! Well done, Starbucks! The drinks we ordered were on point, as expected from Starbucks. No issues here.
Now with the bad....
We have been looking forward to visiting this new Starbucks and noticed that they were adding a small outside patio area with fans. We enjoy bringing our small dog, sitting outside while we enjoy our coffee. When we arrived to the patio, we noticed empty coffee cups, straws, paper and other garbage strewn all over the patio. Not the first impression I would have expected. The tables had clearly not been cleaned in quite sometime, which seems illogical when the area is small and could be cleaned by one associate in probably 3-5 mins. I took the initiative to pick up the trash and take inside since the appearance really was not when I would have expected from a Starbucks, let alone a brand new location. It's hot in Texas. It's 95 degrees this afternoon. We wanted to sit outside with the fans on. When we arrived we noticed that the fans were off. I inquired inside to one associate who looked at me with total blank stare. After finally finding someone who could help with the fans, we were advised that they were not able to turn them on using the remote controls. Epic failure. No outside garbage cans. I believe the garbage issues are primarily related to the fact that there are no outside garbage cans. Add garbage cans and hopefully your customers will take the initiative to pick up after themselves when they are done. WiFi did not work. We were able to connect to the WiFi from the McDonalds located 100 yards across the street. You're a coffee shop, fix the WiFi.
I do hope someone in a corporate or regional role actions this feedback ASAP before this great location becomes a...
