Staff seems to have some mental block when it comes to coffee drinks. It is never right the first time and sometimes not right on the remake either. I am a pretty patient person when it comes to errors, after all, we are dealing with human beings and we all make mistakes. However, having been in the service industry for 30 years I've never experienced such consistently bad service. I am also not ordering some kind of attempt at a Starbucks workaround. I'm ordering the drink directly from the menu with ZERO changes. The item that appears on the screen is correct and it appears correct on my receipt but what comes at me thru the window bears no resemblance to the drink I've ordered. I've even resorted to keeping a picture (directly from the McDonalds website) of the drink that I want and they still can't get it right. Today it was presented with no whipped cream and when I asked for whipped cream the employee at the window had no idea what I was talking about. I then engaged in a game of charades to help her understand what I wanted. She took the drink that was originally presented, put whipped cream on top and then proceeded to shove a flat lid on top of the drink causing it's contents to spill out over the side. She then presented it to me again. I apologized and told her that the drink still wasn't right and then showed her the picture from the menu that I keep on standby for just such an occasion. She grabbed a cup of ice and shoved it under some machine where it sat for the next 3 min while she disappeared. Someone (a shift lead I'm assuming) eventually looked at me and wondered why I was still sitting at the window. The original girl reappeared and had a quick back and forth with the other employee and then resumed making my drink....wrong again. My order was an Iced Caramel Mocha. What I got was an Iced Caramel I Don't Know What. No mocha and barely any coffee. I accepted what I was given out of sheer frustration at having my expectation for disappointment fulfilled once again at this awful location. It is also clear, if you read the other reviews here, that the management does not care in the slightest as they have not replied to a single negative review since 6 years ago. My guess is they have hired all of their family members as employees and have no intention of making any improvement to this location or the way it is run. Read more1 word, well maybe 2....NOT IT! This location seems to be unorganized and/or understaffed no matter what time of day or night I've gone there. A couple of months back I'd ordered the chicken tenders meal via drive-thru during lunch & after I'd almost gotten back to my destination noticed that there was nothing 'tender' about them. They were so hard & dried out it shouldn't have been served to anyone, not even for free. I said then that I was done. But I fell into the trap this morning that the location is so convenient on my way to work plus I wanted cup of hot, fresh(er) coffee so I decided to stop in. Boy was that a mistake. It took nearly 15 min for me to pay for my food & then get my order. 1st a young lady had the only cashier, at the time, bring an order out to someone in the lobby only for her to step in, take my order & just basically walk away without a word that she was actually working the drive-thru but didn't tell the cashier or myself,?anything. All the while Im just waiting with $$ in hand to pay for my food. Finally, after the cashier had taken several orders I had to ask him what was going on. Then the girl looked over to me, from the drive-thru, to yell out that the 'cream & sugar' were in the lobby by the drink machines. I yelled back that I knew that & had already gotten the condiments for my coffee & that she hadn't taken the money for my food nor did she say anything as to why she basically walked away without a word or to let the front cashier know anything. And then she tried to blame him? Finally, one of the managers, who was very apologetic came to take the $$ & get my order out. After this morning's fiasco I AM DONE with this location. Dayshift is absolutely on point majority of the time where their orders and I don’t normally have to go back inside to get anything.. now for the night shift oh my goodness like I refuse to go to this location at night anymore unless I have too. The Night Shift is lazy and always tells me they’re out of ketchup , honey, ranch or something because they don’t wanna go to the back to get refills for there bins. My order is never right and you got the manager in the front is taking your order and constantly has to ask you to repeat your order because she’s talking to somebody else or listening to somebody else in the process of taking your order and then tells you to go to the next window to repeat your order because she’s not listening or doesn’t understand you so makes no sense why she’s even taking the orders in the first place and this is All The Time. I’m not going blame it on the employees. I’m going blame it on the managers in the evening it’s just not doing your job correctly but customer service is absolutely horrible. Nine times out of 10 you get a major attitude when you have to go back inside to get something fixed from the manager mind you and in-turn the employees give you attitude because they see the manager doing it hint hint.
