This review is specific to the Jack In The Box in Issaquah WA USA This has been a place that I have frequented for years and always received great customer service and the food was good. But I had noticed the customer service declining for some time sadly.
12-28-2017 Going through the drive-through at about 4:00 pm, I had to repeat myself several times and the employee still kept getting it wrong. I was trying to be patient because I thought maybe they could not hear me or they did not speak English well. Which I know first hand is the case with many of the employees at this location. Not a big deal for me as I am multi-lingual. I said, "I'll just come to the window so you can hear me better". There was nobody in front of me. The young man clearly did not understand me even when I was at the window and seemed to struggle with the order screen calling for help. I ordered in English and then in Espanol to try to help
We ordered: 2 Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich 2 Orders of Large Fries 3 Orders of Chicken Strips
They handed me 1 Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich 1 Order of Large Fries 1 Order of Chicken Strips 2 Orders of Garlic Fries
They placed things on the order that were not requested. They omitted things that we did request and clarified multiple times in two languages. Then when I told them the order was wrong, they insisted it was correct. - Then I asked for a receipt (because it was not in the bag and at this point I wanted to see what they were billing me for). I pointed out what they charged me for on the receipt was not what I ordered. They insisted it's correct on the receipt because that is exactly what is in the bags. I said that what is in the bags is indeed exactly what is on the receipt, but that is NOT what we ordered. They could not seem to figure it out and people behind us were honking by this point and I was in a hurry and frustrated because it took three employees and still none of them could seem to understand that my order was incomplete and wrong. This was clearly because none of them either spoke English or they were just stupid and have no business working in any kind of business where accuracy and customer service are a factor.
For years when I would travel I would eat at Jack In The Box. Specifically this one is in the town I live. But because of the horrible service and experience at this drive through in Issaquah WA, I will never eat at any Jack In The Box...
Read moreAfter going to the Burger King up the road, which was a complete disaster of a meal, I decided to go to Jack-in-the-Box. Service and atmosphere was fine, but once again the food did not match exactly what was being displayed. It lacked the level of stuff that is being shown on the board. I thought about returning it, but I was hungry, so I ate it anyway. It was an okay burger, but definitely no where near the corporate quality I have had and would expect from a Jack-in-the-Box.
I did however take advantage of their coupon survey offer off of the receipt to get an additional two jumbo jack burgers for the road (buy one get one free). The only problem was that cheese isn’t a part of the deal even though it is shown on the menu board as a burger with cheese. Cheese costs an extra .69 cents per burger; didn’t mention that on the receipt.
Overall, there is some improvement needed here in the form of food quality, which sometimes gets lost in the rush of quantity. Remember why you are different, as quality is a key factor in...
Read moreI was in town with my autistic kid all day. Not much money to spend so I decided to stop by jb. Big mistake. I ordered a grill sandwich but I asked for substitution because the sauce cause me some kind of reaction. I repited twice please do not put the original sauce in the sandwich just the mayo. She put mayo and the sauce on it so I returned for a replacement. She refused because her inventory. I beg her because I was hungry she refused again. Unfortunately I touch the sauce with my hand and a little rush come in to my hand. I asked her to trow that away and she refuse it again so I put the sandwich in the window and she got mad. And start blaming me for my action I just put the sandwich in there so I don't touch it. I still have the rush on my hands...nothing bad but now I am in the hospital.
