Fun experience in the drive thru this morning, Saturday, around 11am, give or take fifteen minutes. I went through the drive thru and when I got to the speaker, there was no greeting, nothing welcoming, just, "go ahead," as if I was an inconvenience to them. Regardless, I politely ordered and was told to pull up to the first window. When I got to the window, a very rude, blue-haired cashier opened the window and grabbed my card, without saying a word and without looking at me, and shut the window. My intention was to give them the benefit of the doubt until it was time to get my card back. The cashier then opened the window and stuck their arm out at my face to take the card from them, once again like I was an inconvenience, and once again without saying a single word to me and without even looking at me. Then they shut the window in my face. Even a simple hello would have been sufficient. But at that point, I was the one who felt disrespected and inconvenienced. I looked at the person through the window until they finally looked at me, I threw my hands up in confusion and told THEM, "Thank you." They then looked at me with confusion, opened the window, and repeated my "thank you" as if it was a question. Businesses never used to treat anyone like that when I was growing up. Its like I was being treated as if I wronged that person even though I had never seen them before in my life. Like they were mad at me for how they assumed I would treat them without giving me the chance to treat them any way at all. Taco Bell down the street says at their speaker every single time, "Welcome to taco bell, how are you doing today?" My business didn't feel appreciated today, and I'm willing to bet this isn't the first time that this has happened with this cashier. Sometimes, working with a low-staff count of exceptional workers is better than having a staff full of people who have no business being in the service industry with customers. I said what I said. The food was great, though. Can't go...
Read moreWe should have turned around when we first entered. The woman at the front counter (I assume the manager since her shirt was different than everyone else - bright blue) halfway turned around and waited for us to approach the counter. The kiosk was down so we had to order at the counter. She approached my husband and immediately seemed annoyed that she had to take our order. He said she wasn't pleasant to speak to during any of the encounter. She wouldn't accept our code for the rewards and she also didn't give him a total before telling him he needed to insert his card. Every table that wasn't occupied was sticky or dirty so we picked the one we could wipe off the easiest. The women's restroom smelled and looked absolutely terrible. Sticky floors throughout, soap and water everywhere. Both toilets seem like they haven't been clean in a while. I ended up deciding to not use the restroom myself and to change our son somewhere else. I know it's a fast food place, I'm not expecting a fine dining experience. But I would like it to look like it's been cleaned somewhere once in the past month. She also crumpled up our receipt without asking if we wanted it so this was the only way I could say...
Read moreFirst walked in at 910PM.. look as if they were getting ready to close... but crew was tearing everything down for cleaning though there was still 3 hours until closing; but hey no worries at best means everything will be somewhat fresh.... NOT! Fries sitting around dry and cold (This seems to be an ongoing problem in many McDonalds)... Big Mac was cold because made and had to wait for chicken sandwiches... but hey chicken sandwich should at least be semi fresh and hot... NOT! watch them pull from one of the plastic trays and place on what seemed to be stale bread (This includes bread / bun for Big Mac).... then to top it of put enough mayo on the chicken sandwiches to fill a 20oz cup.... Sorry to say McDonalds... you keep going down hill and after traveling all day I should have took my chances...
