Michael's has so many choices for so many projects I wouldn't even know where to start. If you need it, they have it. There's the bare-minimum basic project materials that are enjoyable for all ages and even the whole family, all the way up to complicated projects great for personal challenges. No matter what time of year, they're stocked with all kinds of goodies appropriate for every season and holiday.

Whether you're just decorating your house or going all out to start your own business in crafting and decorating, this is the place to be! The prices are just as good as the variety, and the staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The store is clean and organized, making everything you need easy to find. The location is easy to get into and close to a number of other shops and restaurants (so you can justify stopping by there while you're out grocery shopping lol).

With the disappearance of Pat Catan's, I find I am forced to shop Michael's on the Strip, but it is still my last choice after Joann's and Hobby Lobby. Their stores are woefully understaffed and often quite disorganized. My most recent experience included two employees running the whole store (one in the framing department and the other running a register) neither of which knew where to locate the item I'd requested. So I stood in line while waiting for three other people with large quantities to purchase, describe exactly what I was looking for again, found it, and returned to the line to wait again as the sole employee on the register checked out patrons with several carts of supplies. Twenty minutes later, I walked out without purchasing what I needed. Even while the Belden Village JoAnn's is under construction, their location has plenty of knowledge staff, the store is well-stocked, and their website is accurate on quantities! Product is fine, but usually more expensive than the JoAnn's just 2 mins away. Customer service is poor. I ordered online- waited until I got the email saying my order was ready!-, notified I was on my way when I was about ten minutes away, and then checked in for curbside. I try to be exceptionally patient when waiting for curbside and I waited 15 minutes and nothing happened. I eventually decided to go inside since it clearly wasn't happening. I found out that no one was even trying to get my order to me. When I went to find my order on the shelf of online orders, I had difficulty as everyone else's orders were in alphabetical order but mine was misplaced. Not only that, but when I found the bin that was supposed to have my order, it was empty. I had to pick up the bin to see my order was BEHIND the shelf like someone had just tossed it at the shelf. I've had bad experiences with some stores' curbside set ups, but this was the...
